I'm standing next to Jackson as Meredith approaches us.

Meredith: when did you get the call?

Jackson: earlier this morning– donor's in Olympia.

Meredith: and everything checks out?

Savannah: yeah, it's a perfect match. I'm so jealous of you guys.

Meredith: have you told her yet?

Jackson: well, I didn't want you to miss the fun.

We walk into the radiation waiting room where mom and Richard were sitting.

Jackson: so... how did it go?

Webber: oh, we just finished.

Meredith: any pain or nausea? Dizziness?

Mom: I feel annoyed. Too many people have nothing to do except fret over a fine minute radiation zap. A potato wouldn't have cooked in the time I was in there.

Mom notices the looks on our faces.

Mom: what?

Savannah: Jackson and Meredith have something for you. A gift of sorts.

Mom: I don't see anything.

Jackson: it is a patient that we brought in from LA for an abdominal wall transplant.

Mom: a gift implies jewelry.

Jackson: we are also going to transplant his penis and scrotum. Or you are...

Meredith: if you're ready to come back.

I see a smile form on mom's face.

Mom: I guess I need to change into some scrubs. My baby brought me a penis.

I chuckle at mom's comment.

Savannah: no, your baby brings me a penis. He brought you a gift.

I'm grabbing coffee at the coffee stand outside, and I notice a head of red hair coming up to me.

Megan: hello?

Savannah: Megan! Oh my god!

I run up to the female Hunt and pull her into a big hug.

Savannah: hi! How are you?

Megan: I'm good!

Savannah: you look fantastic! Are you well? How are you feeling? What's happening? Is there—

Megan: did you want to look at it?

Savannah: is that even a question? Of course I do!

Megan lifts up her shirt to show me her abdomen with minimal scarring.

Megan: there you go.

Savannah: wow.

Megan: I know. Hey! This stomach won the Catherine Fox award, people! You should all be looking at it too!

Savannah: that looks amazing, Megan. My husband and Mer did good. So, there's no pain, no tenderness, no...?

Megan: nothing. And by the way, lifting up my shirt was how I convinced my patient to get the same surgery, so, you know, your husband can't mess up. Him and Meredith.

Savannah: awesome. Well, Mer is with my husband and they're on their way to do the procurement now. And just so you know, Owen and Teddy don't know you're here, in case you want to surprise them.

Megan: Teddy? Teddy's here?

Savannah: yes, Teddy's here. You don't know?
