Brief mentions of cults and extreme religious practices.

I went to bed after a long day at work and woke up. I fell onto a dark rock and I groaned.
"Nice to see my favorite siblings again. Missed me already?" I asked and they glared down at me.
"Give back what you stole from us and we will leave you be in the human world," my brother sighed. I shrugged.
"We know you have the stone. Give it back."
"You guys lost the stone? Mom isn't going to be happy. For once, I'm innocent," S/N scowled and scanned me. She hesitated and took a step back.
"She's telling the truth," she whispered. "Have you seen or heard anything?" I shook my head, the world spinning as I stood. My vision blurred then cleared. I saw a abandoned church.
"Churches. What's it with the religious people messing with demonic spawn like us?" I growled. "Since I'm the only one who can be on Earth, I'll get the stone back," I avoided their gaze and I looked up to my bedroom. I called one of my coworkers and told her that I had a family emergency and won't be back for a while.
"Come on. Where is the church in my vision?" I closed my eyes and I saw a handsome man standing next to a sign. It pointed up a trail and the world whizzed by. I followed the path and saw the church at the top of the hill.
I saw a huge group of tourists heading up the side of the mountain. I heard strange worshiping songs being sung and terrified screams. Blood flowed from under the door and flowed in a crimson waterfall down the mountain.

"What did you see?" My fingers dug into the rug and I regained control of myself again.
"A bloodbath if I don't do something," S/N shuttered. "I better go. There's at least 50 tourists on their way to their death."
"How long?"
"Maybe a few hours at best," I opened my eyes and I was on the path. I sent the cultists to my siblings and ran to the church. I threw open the door, it flying over the side of the mountain and I went inside. A breeze ran through and I saw a bloody handprint on a trapdoor in the floor. I opened the door and hid as a flood of people ran out of the building. I grabbed the stone, placed on an alter, and went outside. The building collapsed and sank beneath the surface.
"Help!" I turned and saw the fleeing people run past the tourist group. I teleported to the group and there was a man on the ground. I crouched beside him, making sure no one could see me. I recognized him from my vision and I looked up. The sign. He's dying, I thought, pressing my fingers to his neck. I picked him up in my arms and went to Hades.
"Is there anything you can do?" my brother looked at the man in my arms.
"He's dying. I can make him come quicker for you," he produced his signature blade and I glared up at him. He recoiled and put his blade away.
"I don't want him to die. It isn't his time; you should be able to sense that," he stared at my eyes.
"He's a human. Why is he so important to you?"
"Not now. Help him and I will explain," S/N pushed him closer. "Y/N, it will be best if we leave," I was going to protest but she dragged me away.
"Why is he so important to you?" I looked away, pacing.
"The prophecy. Meeting the one by the crossroads and sign."
"You don't believe that, do you?"
"Not until now. I've been having dreams too."
"If you think it's best," I nodded. Our brother walked out.
"He is secure for now," I told him about the dreams and prophecy.
"If not now, then in the future. I just hate to lose you so soon," I nodded and went into the room. The man opened his eyes and looked around. He went to sit up and I pushed him back gently.
"It's okay. I'm right here."
"Who..."
"I'm... Y/N."
"You saved me. I saw him... Death was welcoming me," I nodded. "C/N," he held out his hand and I shook it. As he recovered, I visited him and asked him about his human life.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. You have two more days until Hades destroys him."
"He has nothing. Everyone else thinks he's dead," my brother shrugged and walked away.
"What's wrong?" C/N asked when I entered the room.
"You have to return to the human world. Humans can't live here for extended periods of time."
"I can't go back. Everyone thinks I'm dead. I don't have anyone there to miss me. Why can't I stay?"
"I'm sorry, C/N. It's too dangerous."
"There must be a way for me to stay. Immortality or something," I tried to calm my racing heart. "I had a dream about it. You said there was a prophecy. We have 2 days," he took my hand and looked at me.

"You have to come out."
"Go away, S/N," I looked out the window, flames licking the black coastline.
"Ignoring me and the prophecy isn't going to help."
"Worth trying," I waved my hand and S/N swirled into the room.
"You need to make a decision," I nodded.
"There isn't anything I can do for more time, can I?" She shook her head and I walked to C/N's room. I reached for the doorknob, hesitating. A vision flashed across my vision. I watched as C/N grew older, having children, and his life being incomplete.
"C/N?" I walked inside and saw him by the window.
"Do you ever go back?"
"I do. My siblings can't step foot outside here long."
"Have you thought about the prophecy?"
"I'm going to let you decide. It wouldn't be fair for me to make a decision without asking you about it first," he looked out and nodded.
"There isn't anything for me in the human world," my heart hammered in my chest and I sat beside him. He leaned closer and pressed his lips to mine. Fireworks exploded from our connection and traveled over me in waves.
"What now?" He whispered. I closed my eyes and took his hand, muttering a few lines. I glanced at C/N and I smiled. "Is that it?" I nodded.
"Now my siblings have to accept you."
"How do we know that went okay?"
"You'll survive if they accept," his aura shown blue and I bit my knuckle. The aura changed to green and I sighed in relief.
"Now I can stay?" I nodded and took his hand.

Woohoo. 5 completed in 24 hours. Most of these I started a while ago and never finished but still. 5 more I'm done with. I hope you guys enjoyed it!
