"I'm studying"

I looked around and saw my best friend walking towards me.
"I don't know how I'm going to get used to the hair. Love it but I don't recognize you," she teased. "Did you curl your hair?"
"No, just washed it last night. It curled without me having to put any product in it," we walked outside and BFF/N saw her boyfriend. She grabbed my arm and dragged over to them.

C/N POV
I saw the door open and Y/N and BFF/N walked towards us. I saw (Y/C)BFF/N wave at his girlfriend and BFF/N pulled Y/N along. I looked up at the clear, blue sky and smiled, trying to distract my thoughts from...
"Hey girls. What are you two doing on this lovely day?" He stood and hugged his girlfriend. She giggled and Y/N stepped aside awkwardly. She sat down in the shade and took out one of her textbooks. She flipped through the pages and started taking notes.
"Doing school work during school is boring," Y/N rolled her eyes and kept doing her work. "If your going to continue, at least scoot over so you're further into the shade, vamp," she teased, scooting Y/N closer to me. BFF/N laid down and put her head on her assignment.
"You have a boyfriend for this reason. Why bother me?" I kept looking at my book, trying to concentrate on the words.
"It's easy to bother you," Y/N put the book on the ground and another one across BFF/N's stomach to write on. (Y/C)BFF/N bumped my shoulder and I looked up.
I shook my head and watched his girlfriend pull on one of the ringlets of Y/N's hair. She stood and went back inside for our next class.

I walked into the science room and sat at my normal seat behind Y/N. The teacher walked in and explained we needed partners for the assignment.
"The person you are sitting next to. C/N, Y/N. Both of you don't have partners so that works out," I moved to sit beside her and she didn't look up from her paper. She scribbled something and finally looked at the teacher. She picked up the worksheet and filled in answers.
"Aren't we supposed to read the chapter then look for the answers?" She nodded.
"I already read the chapter," she mumbled and flipped through a different textbook. Her hair fell into her face and I tucked a few curls behind her ear. She rolled her eyes and wrote notes.

"I'm bored," I rolled my eyes at BFF/N and continued my homework. She flopped on the couch behind me and I shook my head.
"I get that. Can you be quiet while being bored? Your boyfriend should be here soon," I sighed and leaned my head back. I looked at the pile of textbooks and papers on the coffee table and floor next to me.
"Nope. Not at..." The doorbell rang and she sprinted to open it. Her and her boyfriend went upstairs and I went back to work. Someone came into the room and laid down on the couch. I wrote a few answers down and felt C/N's hand brush my arm. I looked over my shoulder at him and saw he was sleeping. I combed his hair away from his face and he opened his.
"What are you doing?" He teased.
"I was studying," he smirked and cupped my face in his hand. He brushed my cheek with his thumb.
"What were you studying?"
"The math test tomorrow," C/N rolled his eyes.
"There isn't a test tomorrow. Besides I can say I've been studying all day too," he propped himself on his elbow and pulled me closer to him. He pressed his lips to mine briefly then went to pull away. I pulled him back and he lifted me onto the couch beside him.
He wrapped his arm around my waist and the other hand to the back of my neck. My hands were braced against his chest and I could feel his heart beating rapidly. We pulled away to catch our breath and he pulled me into a hug.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I nodded and wrapped my arms around him. I buried my face in his chest and yawned. "Get some sleep. I'm going to be studying," I laughed quietly and he curled a strand of hair around his finger.
