Haven't had time to write lately and I have so many stories started. So I hope you guys enjoy it!

I officially hate my brother. Everyone, including him, knows I can't stand C/N but did still accepted the invitation for a neighborly cookout? Yes, yes he did. I stayed in my room for the rest of the night.
A little background info before I continue. C/N is 2 years younger than I am, single, and has all of the girls chasing after him. As far as I know, he has never dated anyone ever, which according to the unspoken rules of dating, he must date someone and take someone to every dance.
Me, on the other hand, is a short, nerdy, small girl who has straight A student. I wouldn't be caught talking, much less looking in his general direction.
So the night comes and I dress in blue jeans shorts and a t-shirt. Us kids are sitting outside drink pops next to the fire while the adults are inside. I sit next to my brother, a permanent smirk planted on his face, and C/N and his three sisters sitting next to him.
"Anyone want to play a game?" My brother asked.
"Yea, I'm bored. Let's play truth or dare," his sister suggested. C/N glared at her and I pulled out a book.
"Truth or dare... Y/N," C/N smirked.
"Dare," I didn't look up as I flipped the page.
"Tell us who you like them text them your feelings for them," I brought out my phone and sent my best friend a message.
"I don't like..."
"She likes you but doesn't want to admit it. She talks about you non-stop," my brother said as I tried to respond.
"That's not true. I don't like anyone," I stood and went inside.

"I've been looking for you everywhere. When we're you going to tell me? I'm your bestie," I looked back at her.
"What?" She showed me her phone and I looked away. "It isn't what it looks like."
"Hey, Y/N. Wait up," C/N jogged to us.
"Where's your fan club?" I walked away.
"That's the trouble. They found out that we aren't really dating and they went ballistic. The team says I need a date for homecoming too or else in off the team. That's tomorrow."
"Tell me something I don't know," I mumbled, welcoming the cool autumn breeze as we walked out into the parking lot. BFF/N waved and C/N followed me to my car.
"Look. Since everyone thinks we arw.already dating, so you want to be my date? I know it's a little late notice and all but after this, we can go back to our normal lives. Also, can you give me a ride home? The guys are banning me from communication until I actually get a girlfriend," I inwardly groaned and unlocked the car.
"Fine but there will be rules," I drove away from the school and he nodded. "No touching or kissing unless I let you. I'll let you know if I have anymore. By the way, I hate surprises," he nodded and I dropped him off. He put a piece of paper into my hand.
"We also have to pretend we like each other. After this, we don't have to speak to each other again," he walked away and I went home.
"So a fake relationship? Love the idea. At least you have a reason to go to homecoming now. What would happen if you get attached?" BFF/N was in my room when I got there.
"I don't even know what I just did. C/N asked me to be his fake girlfriend and date to homecoming," I flopped onto the bed.
"Your boyfriend's here," my brother practically sang and I went downstairs.
"Mom wants you guys to come over again. She said this weekend was fun and wants us to get to know each other more."
"Tonight?" He nodded. "Okay, see you then," he pulled me outside.
"Do they know?" I shook my head. " We might have to act like we are dating though. Our siblings will end up telling eventually," I nodded.
"See you later," I went inside, told my parents about the cookout, and went back upstairs. I opened my closed fist and read his note. I put his number in my phone and I told BFF/N everything. She get before we went over to C/N's.
"It looks like it's going to storm tonight so you guys can hang out in the living room," his mom said when we came over. When I walked in, C/N wrapped his arm around me and kissed my temple.
"Play along," he whispered and I rolled my eyes. Our siblings watched tv and we went up to his room." I think they know now," I nodded. "What's wrong? We have to be honest with each other now," he lifted my chin so I would look at him.
"This feels weird," his dad called us down for dinner before I had to say any more. We sat down on the couch and watched the movie.

C/N POV
I finished eating and looked down at Y/N. She had fallen asleep next to me and her legs were stretched out next to her. I turned sideways on the couch and her head fell to my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and went to sleep.

Honestly kinda cute. I hope you guys enjoyed it!
