The next day you and Loki have a discussion, and a couple kisses, before heading to breakfast with the team. When the casual discussion has quieted down you stand up.
"Hey everyone, I have an announcement."
Silence falls over the table and everyone looks to you.
"Loki and I are dating"
The team starts congratulating you as you sit down and Thor actually throws his arms up in the ari and cheers.
Thor: "YESS!"
You laugh at Thor, you know he's been shipping you two from the beginning.
Wanda: "it's about time"
Peter: "congrats guys"
Clint: "congratulations"
Nat: "knew it"
You smile broadly. Thor's face lights up even more.
"Brother, have you finally told her about the- ow! I'll take that as a no"
Cap doesn't look up from his food as he speaks:
"No knife throwing at the table"
Cap catches the knife Loki throws at him and sets it on the table.
"Told me about what?"
Loki replies too quickly
"Nothing"
You give him a look,
"Lokes, c'mon you know I can smell lies"
He sighs,
"We'll talk about it later"
Breakfast resumes as usual and afterwards you all split ways. You and Loki sit in the lounge and you prompt him.
"So? What do you need to tell me about?"
He takes a deep breath and lets it out, preparing himself.
"There is a prophecy about us"
You blink your eyes a couple times in shock.
"About us?"
"Yes."
"What is it?"
He takes another deep breath,
"A lost wolf
A fallen prince
Soulmates they shall be
Him she'll heal
Her he'll save
Heroes we shall see
If they save
The golden dove
Powers shall be revealed
But if they act
In selfish ways
Their curse shall be sealed"
"Wow, that's a lot of pressure"
"Indeed it is"
"Why haven't you told me before now?"
"I was trying to protect you, I didn't want you to be with me because you thought you had to be, I wanted it to be your choice"
"Aww, thank you Lokes"
you hug him and just barely brush your lips against his teasingly and pull back with a smirk. He pulls you back in and kisses you right.
You call a meeting later that day with Tony, Bruce, Loki, and Wanda because they're the ones who know the most about the whole memory situation. You need to know more about it.
"Alright, I called this meeting to discuss the memory wipe"
All but Loki look at the ground and Wanda mumbles an apology.
