Hebrews 13:21
NLT: ...may he equip you with all you need for doing his will.
May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him.
All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.
Meaning: "Life isn't about finding yourself. It's about discovering who God created you to be." I wanted to start off with this {super sweet} quote. It's pretty powerful- our whole life shouldn't be about what we want to do, it should totally be about discovering God's will for us and striving to be who God created you to be!! Now that is a challenge for you!
God has a plan for you. Something you might struggle with is discovering what that plan is or a better word is his will for you, what he has put you on this earth and created you to do! Maybe you are in a position where you have no idea what you want to do for the rest of your life or better you are trying to learn what GOD wants you to do. We are told in this verse that God will equip us for what He has planned for you! So trust him! Also, a huge thing is prayer. Talk to God about things like this. Knock, and the door will be opened! So seek his will for you and keep it in your prayers :) Remember, like it says at the end of the verse, all the glory goes to HIM!
Like Megan mentioned yesterday, tobyMac is an AWESOME Christian artist with great music with a great message!! Lately I've been listening to his song "Beyond Me" non stop! These lyrics remind me how much we need to trust and relay on God, even when we don't know exactly what His plan is for us, trust him! And seek!
