Today's verse: 2 Corinthians 3:18
NIV: And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
NCV: Our faces, then, are not covered. We all show the Lord's glory, and we are being changed to be like him. This change in us brings ever greater glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
Meaning: One of the hardest things in life is change, especially being a Christian. But, change I apart of our daily lives yet it's something we continually struggle with. God puts people in and takes people out of our lives for a reason! He has a plan for us ( see the second post in this book for more about his plan.) Our father, is constantly changing us to bring more glory and to bring us and others closer to him. Sometimes we try to fight him when it comes to change. We hang on to the people he wants out. God puts change in our lives for great reason! Don't fight him!
Take action: Next time you find yourself facing a major turning point whether it be a new job,school or new friends make sure to pray about it! Ask our king to help you to accept the changes he is making in your life. Ask him to help you to see that he's only working for your and his, best interest! Prayer always helps!
