Today's verse: Luke 6:35

NIV: But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

NCV: But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without hoping to get anything back. Then you will have a great reward, and you will be children of the Most High God, because he is kind even to people who are ungrateful and full of sin.

Meaning: We are always told to love everyone, although sometimes it can be hard. Especially when it comes to people we aren't too fond of! This verse tells us that we should still love people, even when they have done us wrong! It also says God is loving and kind to even the wicked and sinful! Another big part to loving is not expecting anything in return! When you love but expect something in return your not truly loving. You have to remember that you are children of The King Of Kings. Your reward won't be here on earth, It will be a life in heaven for eternity! That reward is much better than any earthly reward ever!!

Take action: I know loving your enemies can be really hard! But, try to show some love to them anyway, it's what God wants! Try sending them a nice text asking how their day was or just waving at them in the hallway. Here's a fun activity to try! Right a list of all the bad things that person has done. Cross them all out and ask God to help you be forgiving so you can start to love that person again! You won't get anywhere in life if you don't forgive and show real, true love!

I hope your day is going great!! Show some love to everyone this week!
God Bless :)
