Today's verse: Exodus 15:12
NIV: You stretch out your right hand, and the earth swallows your enemies.
NCV: You reached out with your right hand, and the earth swallowed our enemies.
Meaning: Undoubtably, our God is powerful. He raised from the dead, spoke the earth into motion and is with us every day! Our God is a great one and he judges fairly. He will make people get what they deserve. This verse illustrates how insanely powerful God is! With a simple gesture like reaching out his right hand our God did amazing things. The Heavenly Father is stronger then all of our enemies. He can do whatever he wants in the blink of an eye. Nobody is greater then God. So like this verse says, just as easy as he can stretch out his hand, he can sink an entire nation. Killing off all of our enemies.
Take Action: Here is just a little something to think about. In your mind think of a bunch of things you can do with your right hand. Open doors, pick things up or use a fork for example. Then compare it to all the things God could metaphorically do with his right hand, like sinking our enemies into the earth. This simple little exercise makes you really comprehend how powerful our God truly is!
