2 Thessalonians 2:13
NLT: As for us, we can't help but thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first to experience salvation--a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth.
Meaning: Longer verse for today, but one I thought should be shared! In my previous post, I talked about God's salvation, his grace and even though we were sinful wretches, no matter who you are, God extends thy gift of salvation to you and today it's about being chosen.
Being chosen. Accepted. It's something we might strive to achieve. But would you rather be chosen by that person..... or God? God chose YOU to experience salvation, and for that, we are told to be thankful! Rejoice! This salvation is the ultimate- Jesus died for it. It's through the Spirit we revive it. With faith on the truth! Gods salvation is for sure something we should thank him for, the fact that he gave up his son so we can be forgiven, holy in Gods eyes... what an amazing love!
