NIV: The Lord is my strength and my defense[a];
he has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise him,
my father's God, and I will exalt him.
NCV: The Lord gives me strength and makes me sing;
he has saved me.
He is my God,
and I will praise him.
He is the God of my ancestors,
and I will honor him.
Meaning: Our God is the God of all high. He is our majesty and refuge and king of kings. He is who we praise and worship through our good and bad times. The Lord gives me strength is such a clear statement in the bible, and its so true. God is such an amazing guy. He gives us the strength we need every day just to make it through and adore him. He has saved me. The Lord has saved us. He died on the cross just for us so we could live through him and have a relationship with him Even though we sin. We praise the Lord whether its through singing and worship, dancing, having a conversation with him, reading his word, the bible. He is the God of my ancestors. My grandosremts , great grandparents, way beyond that, knew the lord. People way back knew the lord. Each generation has brought up the lord with them. We honor the Lord not just because he is faithful to us when nobody else is. We honor him simply because without him, we would have nothing to live for. Our God is amazing and he deserves to be praised and honored by us ❤
