Mark 5:36

NLT: "But Jesus overheard them said to Jairus, do not be afraid. Just have faith."

Meaning: I'm just speaking whats on my heart right now. Jesus tell us do not be afraid. Have faith, trust him. I feel like most of us know that. We know that God tells us not to be afraid. But we cant help but feel that things won't turn out and you have to start worry, and be scared. But you have to have to have to trust God. I can't stress enough how important it is to trust him. If you dont have trust in your relationship with him, you dont have anything! I read a story about trusting God and I thought it was pretty neat so I wanted to share it! So there was a man who was ship wrecked on an island. He gathered all the things he could from the ship that had been destroyed. He prayed and wondered everyday if we would ever get rescued. One day he was on the other side of the island when all of a sudden he saw smoke rising in the air near his belongings. He ran over and discovered that all of his things had been burned down! His tools, shelter and all the food he had gathered was gone! He askes God 'why? Why did you do this to me? Haven't I been through enough being stranded here?" He was afraid of what would come next. He had no idea what to do now since all his stuff was gone! But A while later that day a ship had come to where he was and said that the smoke had signaled his location. If it wouldn't have been for that he would still be stranded there! Moral of the story is trust God in everything. Have faith that he knows what hes doing, because he does. Whether that story was real or not, it is still an amazing message!
