Billie: "..."

Bro what I'm about to is gonna make me a bitch, and I feel horrible.

I exhaled and I pretended to be sad.

Maddie: "I tried Billie, I really tried." I made my voice soft, almost faint.

Billie: "So you're really not going."

I shook my head.

Billie: "I thought my mom was just trying to protect you, but hearing it from you... makes it real I guess."

I feel horrible.

Maddie: "Maggie told me to tell you. She said you were sad."

Billie: "Yeah, I'm sad. I don't wanna leave you for four months. I'm not even gonna be here for your birthday."

Maddie: "Don't worry about it, you're fine."

Billie: "What are you doing for your birthday?"

Maddie: "I'mma be in New York."

I had to hide my face so she couldn't see that I smile. 

Maddie: "Where will you be?"

Billie: "Colorado." 

I knew that.

Maddie: "Look I know you're bummed and I'm bummed too, but we cant let that effect this. We still have time, you can't think about when you leave all the time. Because if you do, you won't have fun."

I was being real now.

Billie: "How do you not think about it?"

Maddie: "I don't know, it crosses my mind every now and then. But the second it does, I stop thinking about it, because I'm not ready to accept the fact that you're leaving. I know you're leaving, but I haven't accepted it yet."

Billie: "When will you accept it?"

Maddie: "I don't know."

Billie: "You're gonna be so good at handling this."

Maddie: "No I am not, are you crazy?"

Billie: "Yes."

Maddie: "What's the exact date you leave?"

Billie: "August 30th."

Maddie: "Oh."

I got up off the floor and I grabbed my phone and walked to the kitchen, I got the notepad out that I was writing everything that I wanted to tell Billie. I remembered a key detail that couldn't be left out.

Billie: "What are you doing?"

Maddie: "Planning an outfit for a shoot in a couple days."

Billie: "So you're busy busy the next couple of days."

Maddie: "Yeah theres not a day open on my calendar."

Billie: "When's the next time I'm going to see you?"

Maddie: "You can over now if you want, but you don't have to."

Billie: "REALLY?!?!"

Bitch scared the shit outta me.

Maddie: "Y-Yeah..." I was caught off guard.

Billie: "Okay see you soon, I love you bye."

Maddie: "I love you too."

Call ended.

I hid the notepad and I put my book away, I don't understand how she got here so fast.
