Who?

Johnny.

It felt like the whole world stopped. Time stopped ticking. I felt like I was the only one. I couldn't move. I was frozen. To death.

Johnny Orlando.

"Y/N?", Kenzie shook me.

"Are you not happy?", she asked with sadness in her voice.

I don't know,Kenz.

You're getting married, of course I'm happy.

You're getting married to Johnny, someone I like,a lot.

But a guy isn't more important than my best friend right here.

If she's happy, if he's happy, it's fine. I'm happy.

I love them both.

"Are you out of your mind woman? Of course I am!", I exclaimed before wrapping her in for a tight hug. Tears that threatened to spill, were held back.

We were joined by the girls.

"The Jenzie ship has sailed, folks!",I yelled.

The whole day later, was spent in the wedding planning.

~Two months later~

"You look beautiful, babe.", Nadia said to the soon to be bride, Mackenzie.

Maddie fixed Kenzie's eyeliner. Her makeup was given last preference, since it would take time.

And it did.

Ruby narrowed her eyes as she fixed my lip gloss.

I was having fun.

I never imagined this day would arrive so soon.

Us girls, getting ready for our best friend's wedding.

Her marriage.

Her time for commitment.

Her time to be the happiest.

"Mackenzie?", her mother, who just walked in called out.

She stopped in her tracks as soon as her daughter turned around.

Her hands flew to her mouth, tears formed in her eyes.

"You look breath taking, honey.", she said in her shaky voice.

After conversing, crying and taking a trillion pictures, the ceremony began.

"You're my bridesmaid, Y/N.", said the now fully dressed and precious looking bride.

I bit my lip before pulling her in for another hug.

~skip to walking down the aisle~

The moment Kenz stepped out,all eyes landed on her.

My arm was laced with hers.

Smiles and tears were seen.

Johnny.

He turned around. His eyes refusing to look away from his bride.

After reading the Bible verses and some other stuff, the married couple were now dancing.

Slowly.

They looked so in love.

I just looked at them.

It's okay if I'm a little sad while watching the guy I love being married to someone else, right?

I can do this.

For Kenzie.

She's done too much for me. And I can sacrifice one thing for her right?

I choose best friend over love.

"Ironic, isn't it?", said a voice from beside me.

There stood Brandon, in a tux, watching the couple too.

"Ironic that I'm supposed to be happy for my best friend but I'm just here avoiding to be a part of the most important day of her life? Sure is.", I answered.

"Love is bad. You don't always get who you want.", he said.

He out of the whole group was the only one to figure out my feelings for Johnny. Not that I made it obvious, which is sure since he's married to someone else, but Brandon was smart enough.

He was/is going through the same.

He looked at Mackenzie with sadness in his eyes.

Two months ago, when I told Tim about how I knew how it felt to watch our loved ones go away,I honestly had no idea.

Until, today. Until,now.

"Yeah.", I replied. "Karma does no good to lovers. You know what they say, Karma will punish us by not letting the person we fall for love us too for we did not love the one that truly loved us."

"Sure fucks us all up."

The End
