Bucky Barnes One Shots - EDITING

71. Baking

We're not at 100k yet, but we're at 95k, so here, have this :)

Trying to bake anything with him would include:

- One of you burning yourselves at least twice

- Throwing ingredients and utensils at each other- he once threw a whisk at you, and you whacked him with a rolling pin as a response, getting an egg to the shoulder

- Bucky covering his right hand with flour and walking up behind you before slapping your ass so hard that it left a clear white handprint and having no regrets whatsoever

- He once tried to mix things together to make cookies...

in a blender

- Making a horrendous mess whenever you even attempted to make anything with Bucky

- He actually did try to help you most of the time, but there were days when he just wanted to be a little shit

- Him offering to hold anything hot for you with his metal hand, and always reaching out to grab you right after he says it

- Asking him to get the scales to weigh a certain amount of ingredients, but watching as he came back with the weighing scales from the fucking bathroom- maybe you should've been more clear

- You once let him try to make something on his own... Never again

- His cheeky ass once dipped his finger in chocolate and spread it across your bottom lip, then cleaned it off as he kissed you. It was probably the hottest thing you've ever seen him do

- He was taller than you, so it was his job to get things from the higher cupboards in the kitchen, so you asked him to get flour and you looked away for a second. When you looked back, there was the bag of flour on the floor, and Bucky was completely white, looking at you with an embarrassed expression

- Flour falling from his metal arm for days afterwards

- In fact, this would happen quite regularly - you would often see him either shaking his head or tussling his hair when he cut it shorter to rid himself of the minute amount of flour that had fallen on him

- The two of you once ate an entire bag of sugar each

- He was cutting something this one time, and you heard a loud clink. When you looked up from what you were making and went to see if he was alright, he just held up the handle to a knife and said "I just broke the fucking knife"

- Panicking when you saw the blade of the knife stuck in his metal hand

- You were prone to knocking things off tables by accident, and you knocked maple syrup off one time and the lid came off

- Bucky looking at the spillage in defeat - that shit ain't easy to clean up fam "Well done, dipshit" he said, making you laugh and apologize

- Almost crying when something you both made turned out to be a success that actually tasted amazing

- If you were to ever cut or burn yourself, Bucky would notice it straight away, and he would go into panic mode like you were about to die

- Alternatively, if he hurt himself, he wouldn't tell you and he'd try to suck it up, even if it really fucking hurt

- But, you would find out eventually and you'd patch him up before kissing him where he did hurt himself- even if it was just a little plaster on his finger, it would make him smile every time you did it

- Almost accidentally burning the house or tower down whenever something goes wrong
