After 10 and a half hours and many pilot swaps and pitstops, you finally made it to Siberia, where it was Tony's turn to fly and land the Quinjet

Whilst on it, you took the little knife out of your pocket and looked at it carefully

You saw that it matched his superhero suit perfectly, as the whole thing was black- even the blade was

You couldn't help but notice they way it fits perfectly into your hand like it was made for you - that's what confused you, as you definitely didn't think that Bucky's hands were the same size as yours

While you were examining it, memories and thoughts of Bucky flooded your mind - they ranged from him doing something really fuckin stupid and looking like a muppet to him being so hot that you almost collapsed

At this, you laughed to yourself, and Steve noticed, making him smile fondly at you

He loved the way you cared for Bucky after everything he's been through - he really thought that you were perfect for him and was happy to see that Bucky has someone other than himself to look after him without even knowing it

Anyways, you noticed a little gap on the outside of your boot just as Tony landed the Quinjet and decided to plonk the little knife in there, making sure it's secure and you didn't lose it, otherwise Bucky might stab you very painfully with a spoon

You stood up and looked around at everyone, who were all already smiling back at you, even Bruce, who would stay there unless a Code Green is necessary, but he'll still be on comms to know what's going on

"Wanna go first?" Steve asked you, knowing now how much Bucky meant to you

You nodded instantly and moved to the lowering entrance, grabbing your weapon off the rack/ your back on the way

The light from outside was blinding, but you started walking down with no reluctance or hesitation

Once you scanned the area to make sure it was secure, you stepped down to the crunchy snow beneath you

You were about to turn around and tell the others that it was safe for them to join you, but you didn't realise that Steve was right behind you, making you jump and whack him

"Sorry, doll" he laughed

When Steve calls you this, you think of it as more of a friendly thing, but when Bucky calls you it, you practically melt into a puddle in front of him

As you walked forward, you came across a large building with a large lock that had ice just around it - it looked like someone has broken through it with a pickaxe, as there was one on the floor next to it

You looked towards the large iron doors and saw that Thor was the closest to them "Thor" you said, gaining his attention "Are those doors locked?"

You saw him approach them and examine them, looking up and down and trying to push them apart "Ah" he said making you think he got them open

"What?" You said in response, hope lacing your voice, but when Thor spoke again, the hope left "They are locked, Y/N"

"Damn" you said to yourself before remembering that Nat had a little thing she uses on her phone to unlock doors with codes
