Next day (July 9th) Tuesday.
Billie's POV:
I woke up, not excited like I usually am. I had one thing on my to do list today, that was to give Maddie tickets for her nieces birthday.
I got out of bed, hoping to see Maddie. I hope she see's that I'm miserable and then like kisses me and makes it better, but if I know Maddie. Sadly, that won't happen.
I pull up to her driveway and parked in the spot that I always park in, I debated knocking and then I heard her inside. It sounded like she was walking down the stairs and I heard my music? I laughed quietly not wanting to draw attention that I was here, I slipped the envelope under the door. I heard her pick it up and open it, I rush back to my car and drive. There was no destination.
Inside the envelope there was two tickets to my Texas show in October and a note that said "for your nieces birthday, love you. Billie <3" I rewrote that note one hundred times, not knowing how to word it. As I was spaced off in my thoughts my phone dinged, I was sitting in front of my favorite Mexican restaurant wanting food.

My heart started beating normally for the first in three days, the fact that she barely even said a sentence to me made me beyond happy. I cant wait to fix things. On Thursday. At Noon
I walk in my favorite Mexican place, and I order my usual. I walk back into the car, and I eat it while I'm scrolling through Instagram.

So there's stories now recommend to me, so I clicked on one that caught my eye. Her at was @nicolesmith, I didn't clock anything though. It was a picture of her and written on it said "Gonna make shit right tomorrow." I still had no clue who it was, she looked familiar. But she was too pretty to be Maddie's Nicole. I clicked on her profile, to look at more recent pictures. It was her. Must have been an old picture, cause that bitch was way prettier back in the day. I looked to see who she follows, me, Tana, the twins, Dani, and Maddie. The only one I was hoping I wouldn't see.
But then I got a notification from Instagram.

Earlier today, Billie slid a letter under my door. It was tickets for my niece. The fact that she remembered is what really got to me. It was taking everything in me not to call her and tell her to get her ass over here, but then I got a random ass text from a random ass group chat.

Dani: lets go out tonight
Isaac: we're down.
Eli: what about Billie?
Dani: lets not... talk about her rn, this is to get Maddie mind off what happened.

Isaac: what happened babe?
not that important, ill tell you tonight. we're still together and happy and so don't worry too much.
Dani: Eli and Issac, I'm picking you up in 20. Maddie, I'll be there in 40.

I rush upstairs eager to go out tonight, I cant remember the last time I went out and had a genuinely good time. I blasted music as I brushed my hair through, I took off my pajamas since that all I was wearing since I didn't do anything today. That was the main reason I was excited to go out, because I didn't have shit going on.

I smiled as I read the comments and there was a knock at the door, I walk over to it to be greeted by the twins and Dani.
Dani: "I wanna get fucked up tonight."
Maddie: "You don't understand how down I am."
Isaac: "Shit do ya'll just wanna crash here afterwards?" Looking at me for confirmation.
Maddie: "I don't care."
Isaac: "I mean unless we get some girls, then we won't be coming here."
Dani and I laugh.
Maddie: "Who's ordering the Uber?"
Isaac: "Dani?"
Dani: "Not me."
I rolled my eyes and took out my phone, to see not a text from Billie not a call. She didn't even watch my Insta story. I rolled my eyes and ordered an Uber.
Isaac: "If you don't mind me asking, what happened between you and Billie."
I hesitated because they also know the deal that I made with myself awhile ago.
Maddie: "I had a flashback, of the first time that Nicole and I kissed. While looking in Billie's eyes." Damn that one hurt.
Isaac: "You're lying."
Maddie: "Why the hell would I lie dude? Okay she said something that triggered it, and then she stood in front of me while I remembered what it felt like to have Nicoles tongue in my mouth." I keep hurting myself every time I bring it up.
Isaac: "You love Billie."
Maddie: "I fucking know that! That's why I'm tripping out."
Isaac: "Does she know?"
Maddie: "No she doesn't know, I refuse to tell her ever. And if I do tell her, I'm most definitely not wording it that way."
Isaac: "Do you know what you're going to tell her, like when do tell her."
Maddie: "There's a notepad on the island you can look at it, that's kinda like a rough draft I guess?" I said not knowing what to call it.
Isaac: "Maddie, you're holding back."
Eli: "She's not going to do what you think she's going to do."
Maddie: "I know that."
Isaac: "Then why are you holding back?"
Maddie: "What if I don't wanna say it because I don't wanna remember what it's like?"
