"Hello, is this Daniel Seavey?" A woman asked over the phone.
"Yes it is," Daniel answered.
"I have some very unfortunate news. While Tyler, Christian, Anna, Keri, and Jeff Seavey were on a plane from Portland Oregon to Los Angeles California it crashed," the lady explained. Tears grew in Daniel's eyes.
"Are they ok?" Daniel asked, a few tears falling onto his cheeks.
"I'm so sorry, none survived."
That sentence changed Daniel's life, his whole family is gone.
"Th-Thank you," Daniel stuttered. He hung up then bursted into tears.
The door opened and Daniel's boyfriend, Corbyn, walked in. He sat beside Daniel and held the fragile boy in his arms.
"Shh love, quiet down," Corbyn said gently.
When Daniel calmed down he cuddled into Corbyn, trying to get comfort. "What's wrong baby?"
"My f-family, they died on the plane ride here," Daniel sobbed.
"Oh love, I'm so sorry," Corbyn whispered, making Daniel cry again.
Corbyn felt bad for his boyfriend, and all he could do is comfort him.
When Daniel finally calmed down again Corbyn played with his hair. "Go to sleep love," Corbyn instructed.
