Felix watched you from across the diner. You sat alone in a booth drinking coffee while he miserably sat in the company of his pointless date.

You were caught off guard suddenly. You went to swallow the sip of coffee, only to gag and spit up white tipped black petals. You were terrified. Why was this happening now?

You rushed out quickly before anyone could see the flower petals.

Felix was immediately worried. He stood to follow you, but was stopped by his 'date'.

"Aww, leaving so soon~?" she pouted.

"I have other matters to tend to Ms. Arlene" he spat as he spotted the petal you dropped.

Without giving her the chance to weasel her way into his business, he left curtly. It wasn't going to work out anyway.
