He lied, there was no love, not for you anyway.
Cup only 'dated' you so he could get closer to your friend Ali.
He never saw how badly he hurt you.

Mug happened to be on bartending duty since it was Cup's day off.
He knew all about his brother's awful scheme.
"The usual (Y/nn)?" he asked seeing you distressed.
"Yes please Muggy" you smiled at the kind brother.
"Hehe, you got it! One cherry bomb coming right up sweetheart!" he chirped preparing the drink.
You admired him.
Why couldn't Cup be more like his brother?

Cup didn't like the way his brother looked at you.
He especially didn't like hearing his brother call you sweetheart, like it was nothing.
Cup stomped over, growling at his younger brother.
"Just who in the fuck do you think you are? Flirting with MY girlfriend, you fucking disgust me" he spat.
You stood up ominously calm for the situation at hand, which slightly scared many of the men surrounding you.
"First of all Cuphead, leave him alone. Second, I am NOT your 'girlfriend'. You and I know all too well that your heart has been set on Ali since day one" you scoffed turning away from him.

She strutted over to Cup and dumped her drink on him.
"As if I'll ever date trash like you" she scoffed leaving him bewildered.

You braced for the impact, but it never came.
"Ow! Fuck! Let go!" Cup shouted.
Mug had Cup's hand in his crushing grip, glaring daggers into his brother.
