that was supposed to be me. i always wanted to go somewhere to help kids in a different country in need with sam.

but she went with kendall...and they moved in together.

if i want to get sam back...how the hell will i do it?

whatever. let's just get dinner selena. you can't eat pickles the whole night.

i grabbed my jacket and walked out into the warm Los Angeles air.

sam pov

when i finally finished all of my interviews and went to a photoshoot for J-14 magazine i decided to grab some food when i bumped into someone, "oh my god i'm so sorry." i said.

the girl giggled, "it's fi- sam?" i tore my gaze and looked into the girl's eyes.

"selena. hey." i said and smiled warmly.

i picked up her phone and handed it to her.

"thanks." she said and smiled.

"how have you been?" she asked.

"good. you?"

"good." she said.

paparazzi started forming.

"you wanna maybe grab some food?"

she looked at the restaurant and smiled, "sure."

i smiled back and opened the door for her to get inside.

we sat down and got our food.

"so how's kendall?" she asked.

"she's great. i told her i'd be home soon because i was gonna grab food and she already ate so here i am. what about you?" i asked nicely.

"good. zedd and i broke up."

i put my glass down, "oh god selena i'm so sorry. what happened?"

she shrugged, "i wasn't in love with him. he wasn't the one for me."

i smiled slightly, "okay. well that's fine. not every person you date is going to be the one." i said.

she nodded slowly.

"thanks for dinner sam."

"anytime. and hey if you need anything just call okay?" i said kindly.

she smiled, "thanks sam."

"so um. i know we haven't talked in a while but i want to not ignore each other so can we be friends?" i said awkwardly.

"yeah sure. i'd like that."

i smiled and let her walk into her house...our old house.

"bye sam."

"bye." i waved and walked away, and drove back home to my girlfriend.

selena pov

of course. of course sam just so happens to be there!

but we had dinner...

as friends! sam made that clear! she loves kendall and kendall is good to her.

taylor pov

"alright sam. sure tell kendall goodnight." i said and hung up.

"how is she?" ezra asked as he walked into our room.

"happy. finally. kendall makes her happy and so do her friends...justin, brittany snow, kylie and miley."

"brittany is in the cast for pitch perfect right?"
