"It's too late." I muttered, not wanting to make eye contact. "Y/N I can't make you understand how fucking sorry I am, I love you." He said as the bell rang, I grabbed my bag- threw my textbook inside and walked into the hallways.
I have been dating Emilio for 1 year, we started going out when I was paired with him for an English project last year. I knew of him, he's gorgeous and very popular. We instantly hit it off, and have been together ever since. But, we have our ups and downs. Recently, it's been a lot more downs. We are constantly arguing, stress of school and personal stuff is taking it's toll on our relationship. I put the code in my locker. I felt eyes burning into the back of my head as he came over. It fell silent as everyone wanted to know what was going on- a classic High School perk. "Come on, I said I was sorry." He mumbled. He tried to grab my arm. "Get off." I muttered, closing my locker. "Y/N.." He said trying to pull me towards him. Ivan and a couple of the other boys came round the corner. "GET OFF." I screamed pulling away. He hit his fists on the lockers. "Miss Y/L/N, Mr Martinez my office now." Our school counsellor (Mr.Poplie) said as he walked down the corridor. I froze as my eyes prickled with tears. "Now." He roared. I followed him and Emilio up the stairs to his office. We had to sit outside and wait. We didn't talk to each other, not even take a sneaky glance at the other one. Tears were spilling down my face and I was shaking. Emilio tried to hold my hand, but I snatched it away. We were called inside one at a time. Emilio went in first. I crossed my arms over my chest as tears rolled down my cheeks. He came out with a late slip and walked straight past me. I was called in, I picked up my bag and went in.
I sat down on a chair and crossed my legs. "Y/N.." Mr Poplie said looking at me with raised eyebrows. "No arguing in the hallway, I know." I mumbled looking at the floor. He filled in a late slip- I held my hand out to take it, but he froze up. "Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded, lying. "Aside from Mr.Martinez everything's okay?" He asked. I nodded. "Yep." I said tears forming again. I quickly snatched the note and left. Emilio was waiting for me, but I walked straight past him. "Y/N babe.." he said running to catch up with me. I looked at him. "What?" I snapped, he intertwined his fingers into mine. "Please forgive me." He begged his eyes tearing ever so slightly. I swung my arms around his neck tightly. "I'm sorry too." I mumbled kissing him softly on the lips.
