So since I haven't updated this part since July 12th, I've decided to change it but keep it kinda the same. Only difference, Tony Stark adopted you but he can't find you. Hydra is the big tech company that has both you and C/N turned into superheroes and trying to train both of you before the Avengers get you guys. I hope you guys enjoy it!
The device activated and changed my suit. I looked down as the colors and style changed. I jumped out of my window and onto the busy street below.
I easily found C/N kicking a criminal to the ground. He tied the criminal up and sat on a building to wait. I landed silently beside him.
"Who are you? What are you doing here?"
"Your new partner. The lab knew you would need help soon and sent me in," the suit changed my voice. He looked over at me.
"Have we met before?" I shook my head.
"This is the first time out of the lab. I was created there."
"Your the experiment."
C/N POV The next day
I walked into the apartment and my aunt pointed to my room and I ran upstairs. Tony Stark himself was sitting on my bed. I shut the door behind me and he picked up something.
"Did you make this yourself? Impressive craftsmanship," I took the webshooter away.
"Yes I did. Why are you of all people casually looking through my stuff and sitting in my bedroom, Stark?"
"I just wanted to recruit you for the Avengers but I guess..."
"Wait a minute. You want a 17 year old to join a band of superheroes? I'm in," Tony nodded.
"If your aunt asks, you started an intern with me. We have a mission we want to start on right away that we want you and our other new recruit to join us on."
"Awsome. Let me know when," he nodded and left.
Y/N POV. Later
I tied the last criminal up and ran up the side of the building. I pulled myself up and jumped to the next building. My device buzzed and I fell in shock against my skin. I went straight home and saw a black car sitting out front.
I walked inside and greeted my mother. I went upstairs and saw Tony Stark in my desk chair.
"Can I help you, Mr. Stark?"
"Y/N. I'm glad you came home after your... run? That's what you have down during this time. By the way, the technology for the hologram was amazing. Not even I have come up with something like that yet," I tilted my head in confusion.
"What about your suit? The automated voice?"
"Just an automated voice. No hologram."
"Are you here to admire my mother and mess up my security system or is there another reason to be bugging me and C/N?" He looked at me in surprise. "Recruiting 17 year olds to fight Hydra? I've been doing that since I escaped. He has no idea. The Avengers have no idea on what they are facing. I know Rogers had issues with the big guy and so has your father but they are stronger and smarter."
"What do you mean?"
"They wanted to build a new line of superhumans. They were jealous because past Stark created Rogers and they decided to create me. They trained me to fight behind the scenes. Once Hydra calmed down, the project died down. They put me in a coma until a few years ago. The current leaders revived the blueprints and wiped my memories, hoping I could retain my training. I didn't remember it as well as they hoped.
"Thats when my mother told me I was her daughter. She stole me from the lab and hid me from Hydra. As I got older, they found me and offered me an intern with them. Not realizing, I accepted. I got bit by the radioactive spider, I was fighting crime, going to school with a fake hologram mother. Everything was great. Then C/N came in and I went into hiding. One city with 2 spider like fighting heroes. Only one spider superhero for the comics in the Sunday paper. I'll be on the sidelines," Tony listened as I spilled my life story.
"You enjoyed the little bit of freedom you had left though, am I wrong? Did you tell C/N the truth; all of it? If this partnership is going to work, your going to need to trust us and each other. Can you do that? It's going to be hard but I'll help in any way I can," I nodded.
Later
"That was a piece of cake," I dusted off my hands as I saw something soar over me. I waved as Spiderman stood beside me.
"Beat me to it. Again," I nodded.
"Stark told me everything. I'll help but you need to hear my story. Come on, I'm sure your aunt thinks your at the library or you intern," he followed me to the apartment.
"What are we doing here?" I let my mask fall and he mumbled something. I hit play and my record player played mine and Tony's conversation. "Y/N? Your suit?" I nodded.
"Hydra is behind all of this. That's my life story and now you know," he hugged me and I tripped. We fell onto my bed and we blushed. He stood up and helped me to sit up.
"Any details on the mission yet?" I tapped the device and it deactivated my suit. I pressed it again and Tony spoke to us in a hologram explaining the mission.
"Hydra is heavily fortified and hard to puncture," I slid him to the side and pulled up another screen. I tapped a few buttons and nodded.
"Done. We can get through now," the guys were silent. "What? Before I officially left, I connected this to every system in that place. Who knew if something like this would have happened. Now what, Stark?" He explained what we need from a particular area.
"Sending it to you in 3, 2, 1," she pressed another button and Tony went silent. "Blocking all systems and down. No one will suspect a thing."
"We've been trying to get this for months and you got it in seconds," I rolled my eyes.
"Thanks for making us risk our lives for this mission, Stark. C/N, you better get home before your aunt worries too much," he left and I sat back.
"How did you do that?"
"Magic," I muttered. "Tomorrow is intern day. Bright and early," I shut off my device and went to sleep.
"Get out of there, Y/N," I woke up to Tony's voice in my room. "Hydra... Out... Hurry," I looked around and heard footsteps.
"You're surrounded. There is no escaping this time. Come home with us," I climbed out the window and went up the stairs. I ran as I heard the Hydra soldiers below me. I disabled the tracker on my suit and I disappeared. There were shouts of confusion and I scaled the brick wall of my apartment.
"Where did you go?" I hit an adjacent building with my webs and shot across the alley. "Find her," I climbed up and threw a sniper over the edge. I scanned the rooftop for anymore men before I climbed the wall.
"Search the area. She's close," a super soldier radioed and 3 of them spread out.
"Hey, kid. We are close to your previous position," Tony's voice radioed in my ear. I shot a web at the closest soldier and threw his body into my apartment building.
"Nice shot, Y/N," C/N complemented. He fell from the sky and threw another soldier over the edge of the building. "Are you okay?" I hugged him and he looked surprised. I turned visible and he hugged me back.
"Did you do all of that in your civilian form?" Tony touched down beside us.
"I guess so. I turned invisible after I deactivated the tracker," I shrugged and shot a web over my shoulder at the last super soldier. He went flying over our head. "We better go," we went back to Tony's place and I blacked out.
C/N POV
"She got shot," I caught her in my arms and deactivated my suit. We took her to the infirmary and I set her on a bed.
"Come on. We need to discuss our next course of action. The Avengers are eager to meet you," Tony led me through the skyscraper and into a huge room.
"Got the kids?" A redheaded woman in a black suit asked. Tony nodded and introduced everyone.
"Hi, everyone. I'm Y/N and this is C/N," I turned around sharply and Y/N stood there in new cloths.
"Are you okay?" I hugged her and she laughed.
"I'm fine. Just a bullet. It won't kill me that easy," we walked back and Tony looked surprised.
"Sorry sir. I tried to...stop her," Tony waved the man away.
"So we have obtained the disk that contains the blueprints for the brown recluse project," Y/N went pale.
"Remind me why we need to know about that project. The research has been dead a long... Why is she here?" A tall man with a metal arm walked into the room.
"What is he doing here?" Y/N asked at the same time. I looked beside me but she was gone. I looked around, panicked, and saw she was hanging upside down on the ceiling.
"You know each other?"
"Mission 379. Eliminate the Winter Soldier. My last mission. I failed. Thats when they put me in a coma. Partly because of the downfall of the project and Hydra," she shook her head then left the room. I followed her and she began climbing up the side of the skyscraper. I transformed and raced after her.
"Y/N, it isn't safe out here," I shouted. She shot a web and perched on the roof.
"It isn't safe for me to be around anyone anymore. Everything is coming back to me. They can still bring me back. The change is already beginning. I won't be human much longer," she looked down at me. "They planed this, C/N. All those years ago. They knew about future projects. They knew all of this would happen. My 380th mission was to destroy the world. I failed my last mission but they know how to make sure I don't fail this next one," she jumped off the building and I went after her. I opened my webs into makeshift wings and glided after her.
"We can help you. It doesn't have to end this way," she held still in mid air. As I met her, she kissed me then pushed me away. I saw her lips mouth something as she propelled herself into the nearest building. The glass shattered and I screamed in protest. Something caught me and I thrashed around.
"I didn't want to have to do this, kid."
Bucky POV
I watched everything from the window. Tony caught C/N and he went limp. I turned away.
"Would you like to explain how you know that kid?"
"Like we established earlier, Nat, she was sent to kill me. I don't know why she saved my life but she did. I was escaping Hydra, blew up that last lab that I knew of at that time. I killed everything they threw at me. She was a strong fighter. She could have ended it. She ended up throwing me into an observation platform and told me to jump into the lake below the lab.
"She fought off the entire army to keep them away from me. They electrocuted her and took her away in a pod of green liquid. A few years ago, Hydra captured me again and I escaped. There was a room with a girl in a column of the green liquid. There was a woman with her. I didn't think about it again," Tony walked in and set C/N down.
"She's gone. Don't know where she went," we waited for days to see if Y/N would return.
Natasha POV
"Tony, you remember when Y/N crashed into that skyscraper about two weeks ago?"
"Yes, why?"
"There's a huge spider best there now," Tony went to the window. Huge brown spiders were trailing down the building and shooting webs to nearby buildings. We ran to the meeting room and everyone was already gathered.
"We need to destroy the web and get rid of the spiders. Someone needs to stay here and watch C/N. I don't want him in this fight in case something happens.
"I'll stay," Pepper volunteered before I could open my mouth. "I'm not a fighter. The rest of you are. Try to save her," Tony nodded and we flooded into the street and buildings.
Bucky POV
I ran across one of the web's connecting headquarters to the nest, killing spiders as I went. I cut a hole inside the nest and went inside. There weren't any spiders as I walked deeper into the nest. There were thick webs holding up a cocoon in the center. I cut the webs down and I caught the cocoon.
"Don't cut open the cocoon. It will make this worse. There's a microchip on the side of my head that's controlling this. Destroy it," I heard Y/ N's voice over the comm.
"That will kill you."
"Sacrifices must be made. As long as I'm alive, there will always be a Hydra. I'm the last project," I shook my head. "There isn't time for this. Tell C/N I love him," unwillingly, I picked up my sword and broke the microchip. The spiders and webs disintegrated.
C/N POV
I woke up and saw Pepper sitting beside me.
"I need to see her," she shook her head. I felt something sharp to my temple and a microchip fell onto my lap. "Where is she?"
"Don't know," I turned the chip over and saw the Hydra symbol.
"It's over. Hydra's gone," I felt something in my stomach.
"I'm sorry, kid. We couldn't save her," I heard Tony's voice. "In getting rid of the chip, it detached her from Hydra. Since Hydra is gone, she went with them," Pepper left my room.
3rd person POV
The next few weeks were quiet. Everyone mourned Y/N in there own way. Bucky, Tony, and C/N took her death the hardest.
Tony POV
I knocked on C/N's door. I heard a faint 'come in.'
"I have a surprise for you in the lab," I took him to the lab and pushed him inside. I shut the door and looked around. "Where did you go? you were just here," I looked at C/N who was staring at the ceiling.
"Hey C/N," Y/N hung upside down by a web.
"I told you to stay put," she sat on the table. She shrugged and walked over to C/N. She hugged him and he sobbed.
"Bucky destroyed the chip and brought her back here. I've somehow told her brain that it doesn't need a chip to keep her alive."
"And without my instructions, I wouldn't be here," we went to the meeting room and everyone rejoiced.
Y/N POV
Everyone was glad I was alive and Tony held a party in my honor. Hydra was defeated and everything went back to normal.
I went up to my room and saw a figure on my bed. C/N stood up and shut the door behind me. He hugged me and I hugged him back.
"I'm glad your alive. When you pushed me away, what did you say?" I pulled away.
"Did Bucky say anything?" He shook his head. "I love you," I turned away. "I know (rival's name) likes you too but I guess in the life or death, I wanted you to know," he turned me around.
"I've only ever loved you, Y/N," he pulled me close and Nat walked in.
"They are asleep, Tony," she yelled down the hall, winking at us.
"Thanks Nat," she closed the door gently and I yawned.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" We sat on the bed and I nodded. We leaned closer to each other and my head fell to his chest.
C/N POV
I picked her up and tucked her under the blankets. She wrapped her arms around me and I kissed her forehead.
At school. A few days later...
Tony dropped us off and we walked in together hand in hand.
"C/N! How was your weekend?. Mine was perfect of course. Went to Hawaii and missed the big attack. What are you doing here, freak?"
"Don't call her that, R/N. She isn't a freak," she smiled.
"She's a parent-less freak. She pretends to have a mother," my armband buzzed and I opened it.
"Correction Ms. R/LN, she is my daughter. We are getting a few stragglers in your area," I nodded and smirked.
"Got one is sight, Stark," I ended the hologram and R/N looked offended.
"What did he mean by stragglers? Why are you looking at me that way, freak?" I shot webs at the spider behind her. She screamed and tried to jump in C/N's arms. He sidestepped and she fell.
C/N POV
"Usually when someone saves your life, you thank them," I turned and saw Tony. I looked back at Y/N and saw her eyes go red.
"Whats going on?" Tony held me back.
"I'm getting out of here," R/N grumbled. The spider exploded, leaving the walls red.
"Mission 380 is officially terminated. Goodbye Hydra," she clicked her heels together. She mumbled something and the red came off the walls and encased her in it. I tried to get to her but Tony held on.
"What is going on here? The principal walked in with R/N beside him. "She tells me that Y/N beat her... Mr. Tony Stark. What brings you to our school?"
"We had a red alert, general. Going to have to evacuate the school," he nodded and pulled the nearest fire alarm.
"I hope you get the job done," he shut the doors and barricaded us in.
"Only way is forward now," there was a red path starting where I saw Y/N last.
"What is she doing?"
"Hunting," we kept walking then saw another red room. "Get down," something was walking towards us. I looked around the corner and it was gone. We looked in the room again and saw one of the Hydra supersoldiers being drawn into the red.
"Come on," we ran out of the school and I transformed. We got to the roof and saw several red streams coming through the sky. A large mass had formed, a small, human-like figure inside.
"Y/N, do you copy?" static followed. I threw a web at the mass and it stuck. "C/N, don't."
"Y/N!"I looked around and saw I was inside the mass. She spread her arms out, as if casting something away. The red particles were thrown away from us and we fell.
