Somehow, one way or another, you had a real predicament on your hands.

Something had went wrong during the investigation, and somehow, the rest of your classmates were chibified.

You stared at Monokuma in mounting horror as Chiaki gripped your pants in her tiny hands and fell asleep standing up, Hajime looking after the others in concern as they ran about.

"Upupupupu! Well now, I wasn't expectin' something like this to happen, but hey, I guess you could consider this a bonding exercise!" He laughed, holding his belly. "They should go back to normal in about an hour. Since I'm being nice, I'll even extend the investigation an hour to make up for your lost time!"

"Way to take responsibility," you grumbled with a sigh. "But thanks, I guess."

"I'm only doin' this once, because I didn't have anything to do with it and you didn't somehow screw something up, so take advantage of my kindness!" He shooed you. "Now scram! Keep these kiddos in gear as much as you can, too."

You could only stare as he skipped out of the room, leaving Hajime to look back at you helplessly as Kazuichi ran away from Gundham, the pissed-off animal tamer having had enough and started to chase him.

"We... have a long way to go," you muttered to yourself, reaching down to pet Chiaki's head as she snored quietly.

A long way to go, indeed. The next hour was one of the longest hours of your life with the rest of your classmates turned into little versions of themselves.

Hajime tried to help you the best he could, but his voice was too cutesy to take seriously. Chiaki and Nagito followed him around, and the sound of your squeaking voices made you smile despite your worries. Teruteru stayed away from the body, looking disturbed and sick. Sonia and Gundham talked together about the crime scene, Kazuichi lingering nearby. Mahiru tried her best to herd Hiyoko along, although it seemed that the girl just couldn't help herself from bullying Mikan even now. Peko stood vigilantly near Fuyuhiko as he went about. Ibuki walked about with Nekomaru and Akane, chattering about this and that.

You tried to keep them from causing havoc, but things still happened. Kazuichi managed to drive Sonia and Gundham off multiple times, and Nagito creeped him out when he approached him. Still they listened to you when you tried to talk to them, momentarily pausing and doing what you commanded. By the time they all returned to normal, you were curled up on the ground.

"Oh geez, (y/n)!" Kazuichi exclaimed, darting forward. "Don't sleep there!"

Chiaki bent down next to you, petting your hair. "Let her sleep, I'll drop her off in her room."

With a grunt, she hoisted you into her arms. "Hajime, you can take care of things from here."

"Okay." He nodded, watching her go.
