Selina Kyle x Best Friend Reader

   Y/N'S POV

  As I helped Selina with her dress, I asked her,"Where are you going like this?"

  Selina laughed, but she said,"Darling, a date. I'm going on a date."

  I looked down at my phone saying,"With who?"

  Selina said,"I won't tell."

  I rolled my eyes, before Selina grabbed her phone and said,"I promise to tell you everything when I get back."

  I nodded and Selina kissed my cheek, before I sat down at my desk and tried to focus on my assignment for work. That didn't last long, because I fell asleep five minutes later.
 
  ....

  I woke up and grabbed my phone, before I answered Selina's call.

  She said,"Y/N, would you be a dear and bring me my lipstick?"

  I said,"Where are you?"

  Selina said,"Did you get the picture?"

  I looked at the picture, and Selina was at one of the most expensive restaurants in Gotham.

  I asked her,"Who are you on a date with, Selina?"

  Selina asked me,"Will you bring it to me, Y/N?"

  I said,"Sure. Be there in ten minutes."

  I got up and made myself look presentable, before I drove to where Selina's date was. I walked inside and saw Selina getting up from the table. That was when I saw who she was on a date with. She wouldn't...

  Bruce smiled at me and waved to me, before Selina made it to me.

  She took the lipstick from me, and I said,"How could you, Selina?"

  Selina looked back at Bruce and back at me saying,"Darling, I had to go for it. I'm sure you understand."

  I snatched the lipstick back from her and said,"No, I don't understand. You know how I feel about him. I even told you that I would tell him how I felt tomorrow. That's why you wanted me to bring the lipstick and help you out with getting ready, so you could show me how much of a lousy best friend you are. That's fine."

  I threw her lipstick outside, and a car ran it over. She was angry, but I knew she wasn't going to do anything to make Bruce come over here.

  She said,"You'll pay for that."

  I shrugged saying,"I doubt it. Enjoy your date."

  I pushed Selina out of the way and walked over to Bruce.

  He stood to his feet and said,"Everything all right, Y/N?"

  I fixed his collar saying,"Everything's fine. Enjoy your date."

  He grabbed my hand and said,"Y/N-"

  I shook my head and said,"No, it's okay."

  I left and had trouble sleeping that night. The next morning, I woke up with a headache. I turned and saw water everywhere. My eyes widened, and I rushed into the bathroom. I turned off the water from the sink and immediately rushed back to my bedroom. That was when I saw the letters my brother had left for me were destroyed.
  I saw Catwoman in the distance, but I immediately called someone to take care of my house. Right now, it was time for me to deal with Selina. I headed to Wayne Enterprises, and I saw Bruce heading in my direction. I sent him a smile, yet I stopped smiling when I had Selina in my sights.

  I headed over to her and said,"You could've done anything else, but you decided to mess up my house. You knew how much those letters meant to me. You knew how much Bruce meant to me."

  Selina played with her fingers saying,"I did, but you'll get over it, Y/N. Bruce loves me. Not you."

  I went to hit her, but Bruce pulled me into his office.

  I said,"Bruce, just let me go back out there!"

  Bruce said,"No. What did you mean?"

  I asked him,"What are you talking about?"

  I stopped fighting against him, and he looked me in the eyes saying,"What did you mean when you said Selina knew how much I meant to you?"

  I brought my hands up to his face and said,"I'm in love with you, Bruce. I am, and I was going to tell you today actually. However, Selina knew this, and I guess she decided to use her charm on you. If you two are dating, you don't have to worry about me standing in between the two of you. I guess I just feel better knowing that you know now."

  Bruce kissed my forehead and said,"Y/N, Selina and I aren't dating. What you saw last night, Selina was only meeting with me because she had information for me. It wasn't a date."

  Bruce leaned into my hands saying,"I love you, too, Y/N. I have to leave for lunch. Would you like to join me?"

  I said,"I'd love to."

  Bruce led me out of his office and down towards the elevator. I spotted Selina and smirked at her, before the elevator doors closed. I knew Selina would try something else, but I'd be ready for her.
