TRIGGER WARNING SORRY I DIDN'T ADD ONE IN EARLIER

I knew a girl who liked to draw
She drew pictures that nobody saw
She was most artistic late at night
In the bathroom out of sight
She kept a secret no one knew
She didn't tell a soul as her gallery grew
Her drawings were different, no paper or pen
But she needed a bandage now and again
Her captions were different, no paper or pencil
She used their words as a stencil
She drew a pretty picture and coloured it red
Hoping one day she'd end up dead
We stood by the river under the stars
She rolled up her sleeves and showed me her scars
She felt embarrassed and looked down at her shoe
I rolled up my sleeves and said "I draw too."

"Her paintbrush was a razor and her paper was her wrist."
