It was almost midnight and I was about to go to bed when I got a message. I checked my phone and saw it was from an unknown number. Curious, I opened the chat.
Unknown: Rye I can't do it! I know I said I wouldn't end it tonight, but I can't fight it. I'm so sorry for letting you down. I love you x
Harvey: Mate, I think you got the wrong number..
Unknown: Oh, that was meant for my friend Rye. Sorry for bothering you!
Harvey: No, don't go...
Unknown: Why not?
Harvey: Please don't kill yourself !!
Unknown: Why not? I have nothing to live for
Harvey: You must have someone worth living for. Family? Friends?
Unknown: Rye is the only good thing I've got. My parents chucked me out when they found out I was gay.
Unknown: You're probably disgusted now
Harvey: Noooo I'd be a hypocrite if I was. I'm gay myself!

Harvey: Well, stay alive for Rye then. I'm sure he'll be broken if you kill yourself

Harvey: Nobody deserves to feel he way you do. Everyone deserves happiness. I don't want you to make the BIGGEST mistake of your life by ending things
Unknown: But I can't deal with the pain anymore. Just let me go :'(
Harvey: No chance. What's your name?
Mikey: Mikey. Mikey Cobban.
Harvey: I'm Harvey. I'm 20 and I live in London.
Mikey: I'm 23 and I live in Bristol.
Harvey: Well, Mikey. Can we be friends?
Mikey: I guess..
Harvey: So, tell me who you want to end your life.
Mikey: Because no one cares about me. I'm an unlovable freak. Everyone I've ever trusted has left me. Rye is the only person I've got. He's the only one who truly cares about me. Even my own family thinks I'm an embarrassment.
Harvey: I care about you.
Mikey: You don't know me!
Harvey: But I care.
Mikey: Hmm
Harvey: Can we get to know each other a bit more? I want to show you how good your life is, and prove that you shouldn't give it up!
Mikey: That will never happen, but you can try
Harvey: Things will get better, Mikey. Trust me. All you need is for the right person to come along who will fix you.
Harvey: I want to be that person!
Mikey: :)
Harvey: I gotta go now. I'll speak to you later?
Mikey: Sure. Thank you Harvey.
Mikey: Because of you I'm gonna live another day x
