~Trinity's POV~
The night Sebastian caught me in his office I was planning on putting the microphone on his desk, however he stopped me from doing that. He knew I was up to something and would randomly pop up in a room so I had to end up putting it on his nightstand out of desperation
It's been about two weeks now since I went back to the station and gave them more information about Sebastian. It feels like I'm in another therapy session but this time the focus is on my dysfunctional marriage
"Boy am I full." Sebastian says as he climbs into bed with me and rubs his stomach
"I told you eating those potatoes would only make it worse."
"Yeah but it was so damn worth it." He said as I scooted closer towards him
"Hey babe, do you remember Amilio?" I asked as he looked at me weirdly
"Yeah what about him."
"You never really told me what happened,"
"Babe, that shit happened damn near twenty years ago, I meant it when I said I wasn't gonna bring up old shit."
"I know but he was your friend and you two had that big fight and the next day he ends up dead."
"That's exactly what happened, we had a fight, I go back to the room, next thing I know he's dead, end of story."
"Why was he dead?"
"I got a question for you, why are you asking me about this? Not once have you mentioned this man's name in sixteen years and out of the blue here you go asking questions."
"Well your fiftieth birthday is coming up pretty soon and I was thinking about all the wonderful birthdays you've had and the people that came out and celebrated with you and he came to mind." I said as he rolled his eyes
"Great, remind me of how old I'm getting. It's already bad enough I look in the mirror and all my hair is gone, I have a few specs of grey throughout my beard and a gut that seems to not want to leave me, despite all of that nothing hurts worse than hearing you say fifty."
"Oh honey, fifty isn't a death sentence or old at all. I think you look great for your age, I love the salt and pepper beard and even the gut you have,"
"Do you really?"
"Of course, it lets me know that you enjoy my cooking, and that I take good care of you as well." I said as I rubbed his stomach
"I do enjoy your cooking very much, at the rate I'm eating I'll be three hundred pounds in no time." He grinned "Meanwhile you'll forever remain the same size for all eternity, just like you'll look the same as you did when you were a teenager."
"I've gained a few pounds over the years,"
"And it went to those gorgeous hips of yours and I'm not complaining about it. I'll die a happy man knowing that I had you by my side, you have a heart of pure gold and the body of an angel. An old man like me couldn't wish for a more perfect life than what I have." He said as he grabbed me by the hips and placed me on his lap
"I'm no angel, babe."
"Yes you are, you've kept me somewhat sane all these years, you gave me the greatest gift of all by bearing our beautiful children and you never once betrayed my trust. After all we've been through these fourteen years we've been married and eighteen in total of us being a couple, I can truly say without a shadow of a doubt you are my angel." He said as he gently held my face in his hands and placed a loving kiss on my lips

"I think we should just abort this entire mission and do this ourselves, we won't get anywhere when he's still fucking her." Officer Hernandez said to detective Neidhart as I was walking inside the room and the both of them turned and looked at me
"Oh look who's here, you care to tell us about your fun-filled night with a psychotic murderer." Officer Hernandez said slyly to me
"You certainly heard what a great time I had, so there's no need to bring it up again. If you're so willing and able to take down Sebastian then please be my guess and do it already. In case you didn't know, Sebastian and I are married which means we have sex, what do you want me to do? Not have sex with him because surely he wouldn't think that's suspicious at all."
"I think he's just worried that you'll start to blur the lines of business and pleasure, I know this puts you in an even difficult position since this is your husband." Detective Neidhart said as he stepped in
"I told all of you in the beginning that I was willing to cooperate and that's what I've been doing for the past two months now, I've given you years of information and none of you wouldn't have known half of this if it weren't for me, so excuse me for being cocky but I deserve some respect and a little gratitude."
"You're absolutely right and I for one am very grateful for what you have contributed so far."
"Thank you."
"So since we have a mountain of evidence to obviously give a solid conviction, now all we need is to catch him when he least expects."
"Two weeks from now will be his birthday, I'm planning a party for him in the Keys, all of his business partners and associates will be there."
"And what about you and the kids?"
"Hopefully halfway out of the country on our way to Paris."
"How exactly are you planning on doing that?"
"Simple, I'll tell him that I'll leave early to the party so I can make sure everything is setup, once he arrives at the party then you and your crew pops out and arrests everyone meanwhile I'm out of sight and can't be found."
"You think that will work?"
"I know it will if we plan everything just right, there can't be any delays or else shit will go sideways in a hurry, by the way you do have a team to take him down right? Otherwise if it's just you then you're screwed."
"I do have a team." He said motioning for the two men in the corner to stand up
"This is deputy Thompson and Geiger, they will help me out along with Officer Hernandez and another deputy, Johnson, I've chosen to handle the job he's surveying the perimeter for me so we can position where we are going to be placed during the party.
We've also been able to get the route that his driver will be taking to get him to the party, so if all goes according to plan we can intersect him before he even makes it there and once we have him in custody then it's on with the rest of his partners."
I make it home a few hours later after going over the plan about eight times to make sure it's one hundred percent perfect and what's the alternative if the original doesn't pan out correctly.
I blow a big sigh walking into the house as I put the keys on the hook. "Trin what the fuck." I whisper to myself as I brush my hair out of my face
I'm really going forth with this plan and there is no stopping me now as it's too late to turn back now.
I began to walk into the living room when Sebastian comes around the corner with his hands behind his back and had a straight face
"Hi honey." I said putting on a convincing smile as he did not reciprocate but instead slowly looked me up and down
"I can't believe you."
"What?"
"I truly never thought in my wildest dreams you'd do this to me." He said as my heart sunk to the pit of my stomach, he had found out and I was terrified
I found myself instinctively shaking, my knees were getting weak as I slowly backed up against the wall as he never took his eyes off of mine and stalked his way towards me.
He took his hands from behind his back and in one hand he had a gun. "You've never done such a thing to me, I feel betrayed like my own heart has been ripped out of my chest. I trusted you." He said as I nervously glanced down at the gun in his hand
"I, I, I'm sorry." I said shakily
"Sorry? After what you did, let me guess you didn't think I'd find out did you?"
"No."
"Well you were wrong." He said as he put the gun up to my face as I stared down the barrel of his gun
"Any last words?"
"Baby I'm-" I started as he put his hand over my mouth
"On second thought you need to learn your lesson." He said as I shut my eyes and started screaming. I waited for the loud gunshot and even a bullet to penetrate my face but the only thing I felt was a stream of water
I opened my eyes to not see blood everywhere or feel for a hole in my head but water dripping down my face.
I look at Sebastian as he had a devilish grin on his face and he shot water on my chest. "How dare you try and cheat me in cards the other night. Evan finally told me everything about how you bribed him to keep quiet of you hiding cards and switching them out, so you get wet up with my water gun." He said shooting me again in the chest and once more in the face
"You're mad at me for cheating the other night?"
"Yeah why else would I be mad? And why the hell were you screaming like I was about to kill you?"
"Well because I thought you were."
"Please Trin, I definitely wouldn't kill you over a card game and especially not on this new marble floor I just had put in, I'll take you out back for that kind of thing." He said as I nudged his arm and he chuckled
"However we can go upstairs and I can make you scream all you want with no strings attached."
"Maybe, but I wouldn't want to bore you with your birthday party and all coming up soon, I want you to have all the energy you can to have the time of your life."
It looks like our girl Trinity is going forward with turning Sebastian in. Will she have second thoughts about it?
