asahi azumane was the happiest man on earth.

he had someone like you as his significant other, and there was no one that could make him feel this way.

your positivity was something he admired. you've always had an enthusiastic and frolicsome personality that would catch lots of people's attention. with your smile, it would brighten up the mood in no time.

your strong leadership allowed you to make a significant impact on your classmates, and it got to the point where people would come up to you to ask for pieces of advice about leadership.

having someone so positive and passionate like you was like a blessing to asahi. he had always wanted to be someone that could make an impact on someone's life, and lead the team. having an optimistic individual, like you, helped him with his negativity and self-conscious self.

to this day, he didn't know why you chose him as your boyfriend, but he was beyond euphoric that you were his. he was unapproachable due to his long hair and growing scuff on his chin. but it was a first for him to have a girl approach him first, without any trepidation.

to you, asahi was the complete opposite of what everyone thought of him. he was gentle and quite sensitive. he took every word that described him to heart, and it would sometimes cause him to become depressed at times. when you first talked to him, he didn't intimidate you. his choice of words was respectful and kind, and he was surprisingly tender.

due to all of the rumors about him, you totally thought he would glare and swear at you. but when a smile curved upon his face, your cheeks reddened and your heart started fluttering fast.

you've always loved interacting with him ever since. he would talk to you about the volleyball team and how chaotic the teammates could be at times. you admired how devoted he was to the sport, and you couldn't help but want to see him play.

after spending days, weeks, and months with him, you had completely fallen for him. when you confessed, you were prepared to get rejected. but, when he shyly said he liked you back, you were so beatific, you couldn't explain it in words.

so now, you guys were an official couple.

"do you want to come and visit the volleyball team? i'm sure they'll love it," he asked as both of you walked down the hallway leading to the gymnasium.

"really?! am i allowed to?" you asked, jubilantly. "i've always wanted to see you play." asahi flushed at your comment and started fidgeting.

"y-yeah," he stuttered, opening the door to the gym. the sound of shoes running and volleyballs hitting the ground caught your attention as you peeked in. 

your mouth parted in shock as a boy with orange hair jumped up, high from the floor, and spiked the ball down. it all happened in one swift movement and the ball had already been slammed down onto the ground before you knew it.

"ah, asahi-san!" a boy with black hair that's ruffled upwards and a tuff of blond hair fell over his forehead came running towards your direction with a large grin.

"asahi-san, who's this beautiful goddess next to you?" a boy with a shaved head asks.

asahi stood behind you as the rest of the volleyball members surrounded you. some looked intimidating due to their tall height, but you pushed your cowardliness down your throat.

"guys, don't stand so close to her. you guys are scaring her," asahi exclaimed, worriedly. "um, this is y/n, and she's going to be watching us practice. be nice to her, and don't scare her."

asahi introduced the volleyball members' names one by one, and most of them seemed kind and considerate.

"woah, you're really beautiful," tanaka complimented. his face was near yours, and his cheeks reddened when he realized how close he was to you.

"you have blessed my eyes," nishinoya states. "you are the definition of a goddess. i am here to serve you, your highness."

you were completely speechless. no one had ever said those words to you, and you didn't know how to reply.

asahi, who was behind you, was fidgeting and was about to explode. he didn't like having boys near you, but he was trying his best to calm himself down because you were in front of him.

"asahi, is she your girlfriend?"

"do you have a boyfriend, miss?"

"do you think it's possible for me to get her number?"

"she could take all my money, and i wouldn't mind at all."

the number of questions that were being thrown all over the place made you unsettled. you parted open your mouth to answer, but a hand wrapped around your shoulders before you could say anything.

"y-y/n is my girlfriend, so don't even try to get her number," asahi muttered, bringing you closer to his chest. "and she only loves me," he confidently exclaimed.

he soon realized what he just said, and turned bright red. the rest of the volleyball team started laughing at how red he became and couldn't help but joke around with him.

"asahi, you're really red."

"asahi-san, do you need to go to the nurse's room?"

"AHAHAHAHA, HE BECAME RED SO FAST!!"

while the others snickered at him, you were once again, falling for this man. he turned more flushed when he looked at you, which made you smile. you couldn't understand how someone could be so adorable.

you grabbed his shoulder, which caught his attention. he whipped his face towards you, and you took the chance to kiss his cheek. the whole gym became quiet with your swift action, and asahi became more flustered.

"hehe, i love only you, asahi," you whispered.

"i-i-i-i l-love you t-too," he stuttered, while the whole team tried their very best to not laugh at his stuttering mess. which obviously, did not work because the whole volleyball team was snickering at how flustered asahi was.

but, that only made you fall for him even harder.
