Fresh Sans is literally Error's father. But Error mutated away a lot from his base and became a self sentient being unlike the rest of the hive who are under Fresh's control. Error instead of possessing other Sans has an immortal glitchy body. These mutations along with the glitchy body were partially caused by being in the antivoid.
Instead of possessing a body and eating a Sans soul slowly Error is stuck inside the body of a glitchy black skeleton. To get his nutritions Error physically eats the souls and unlike his father Error's favorite food is determined souls. He devoured souls with his tentacles vi mouth which most people mistake for blue tongues. Again Error's skeleton body won't let him escape even if there is enough room to crawl out of the body.
Fresh is extremely protective of Error despite their interactions suggesting otherwise. He always pops in to check on him. Error was like a new queen bee separating from the hive except the parent queen went into protect the offspring mode instead of letting him go. Fresh doesn't care for Error's body, but the safety of the parasite within it.
Error has a lot of souls hanging around because he eats as often as Fresh who can go months with a single soul.
(Since Error has tentacle tongues and Fresh is a tentacle monster why not make something fresh with it.)
(Error is Fresh's son and if he ever got out of his lone wolf phase he could start making a hive for himself.)
