Fgod Error gets offered a job by another deity who found his coding skills matched perfectly for the job. Error quickly agrees after hearing the description of it as almost anything was better than being a slave to fate. This deity wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed and hadn't realized how important Error's duties here were. At the very least their own multiverse either didn't have a balance or the balances their could allow a few years off of duty without anything bad happening.
Not like it really mattered either way since the deity was irresponsible enough to choose someone with the skills needed immediately and without a background check. Nor did they respect the fact this wasn't their multiverse to traipse around in to begin with. Although they told Error it would only be a few years their irresponsible enough to forget about ever leaving their self given vacation or remember the multiverse to begin with after dropping Error off to replace the deity's job.(this deity must be Ink's relative or something. Forgetful and making new multiverse's to forget the old one)
Error was now the administrator and monitor of this multiverse. He has free rein to do what he wants with it as long as it doesn't die.
(This multiverse could be anything from marvel to sonic to undertale to .........well you get the idea)
