They Are Your Uber Drivers
Daichi
'Hohoho! He is H.O.T!' Your mind screamed when you decided to seat yourself at the passenger seat. It was too late to change seats when this man named Sawamura drove off to your location. It was awfully silent until the man cleared his throat.
"Miss (f/n)..."
"Y-Yes?" You turned to him.
"You forgot to wear your seatbelt," He pointed at the belt without looking at you and had a blush on his face. "I don't want to get into an accident and hurt a young beautiful lady like you."
"Oh okay." You put on your seatbelt and sat tight, biting your bottom lip to keep yourself from smiling.
Smooth, Sawamura dude.
Sugawara
"Hello! You're (f/n)-san?" The beautiful young man greeted you with his handsome smile, his free hand holding his phone.
"Y-Yes..." You seat yourself behind and held your bag in worry. "I never ride an uber before so please don't kill me."
"Don't worry, miss. I've been driving for 3 years of my-"
"Uh I mean please don't hurt me in that way. I don't know you because you're an uber driver. Uber drivers worked on their own, right?" Your voice shook and the driver seemed to sense your anxiety.
Suga turned around and smiled. "You are safe, (f/n)-san. I don't know how to convince you but if it makes you feel any better, you can screenshot my contact info and send it to whoever you trust. If anything happens, they can report me because I'm responsible." He closed his eyes while smiling. "I can accept that."
Wow. Whoever he is... He was smooth.
"I chose to trust you, Sugawara-san." You felt bad for assuming bad about him and shot him your rare smiles.
Sugawara nodded and turned back to his seat before blushing red. He knows he was going to break multiple rules but... There's nothing wrong with saving your number, right?
Asahi
You swore you almost cancel this guy from picking you up but it was too late when he finally arrived, parking his car in front of you. You nervously walked towards his car and sit behind.
The man turned to you and flashed you his not-so-scary smile. "(f/n)-san, right?"
"Yes... You're Asahi?"
He nodded. "That's me. You're heading to (l/n)? That's quite far. You sure you don't want to take the train?" (l/n) = location name
"Trains aren't exactly my thing. I promise I'll pay you more including traffic jams. Just take me there... I-I don't want to be here." Your voice shook due to what happened in your home and you couldn't be there right now.
Asahi sensed what was wrong and decided to take you (l/n) before you start complaining. The drive was almost an hour long and the bill was nearly $30 but it didn't matter to you anymore.
"Uh... I know you don't know me well enough to tell me your problems but whatever happened back there, you had the right to do it. You made a choice to leave and be free from the prison. I hope wherever you're staying later... You'll be fine." He said softly and glanced at you through the review mirror.
"T-Thanks, Asahi-san. Oh and truth be told..."
"Hm?"
"I killed my neighbor's cat. That's why I want to leave in a hurry."
You couldn't see it but Asahi had a terrified look on his face.
Tanaka
You nearly died waiting near the bus stand.
There stood before you was an orange Subaru XV Crossover that almost killed you. You glared at your uber driver who stepped out of the car and you nearly pee your pants when you saw how he looked like.
He's a delinquent!
"Oh I'm very sorry, Miss (f/n)! My brakes would not work!"
"Then why are you working as an uber driver if your car nearly killed both you and me?!"
"It's the only car I have." He sheepishly rubbed his bald head. "Again, I'm deeply sorry, Miss (f/n). Because of the condition of my car, I can't drive you to your location. If it helps, I'll call my friend and he'll come pick you up."
"No, that's fine. I can take the train..." Immediately you thought of an idea. "Why not you come with me?"
"Huh? Why?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Well, it's obvious you are in a hurry heading somewhere and you kept looking at your watch so I am sure it must be important you should be wherever you are heading to." You assured. "It is my fault I called you to pick me up and ended up screwing your car. You must be in a hurry to do something."
"It's fine, lady! I am always late to feed my dog, anyway!"
What....?
Nishinoya
"I uh... Should I be concerned that an 11 year old is driving?"
"How insulting, lady! I am 24 years old and I got my license 5 years ago!" Nishinoya exclaimed and puffed his cheeks. "I'm Nishinoya. You are (f/n)?"
You nodded, seating yourself on the passenger seat. For the first time, you weren't afraid of a stranger driving an uber car. This guy looked friendly and carefree.
"We are heading to (l/n)! But first, we have to do something."
"Like what?"
"Tap your lap." He tapped his lap and motioned for you to follow you. "Come on, tap harder! Or the car will not move!"
What is this, Little Einsteins show Japanese version?
"Nishinoya-san... We are not in Little Einstein's show. Please drive."
Tsukishima
"Where to?"
Your jaw almost dropped. "I just—It's written there, Tsukishima-san. There's an uber app there for a rea-"
"Wait, Yamaguchi. My customer thinks I'm talking to her, hold on." Tsukishima turned to you half glaring. "Lady, I know how to do my job, thanks." Then he resumed talking with Yamaguchi.
You ended up using the bus.
And reported about his service being bad.
Yamaguchi
"You're cute," It was the first thing you said as you entered Yamaguchi's car. "Yamaguchi-kun, right?"
"Y-Yeah, you're (f/n)?"
"Yep. Beautiful day, isn't it? I was planning to use the taxi but it cost a lot of money so I used uber app to find you. It is my first time so I don't quite know how uber works."
"That's fine. Heading to (l/n)? That's quite near, actually."
Your eyes widened. "How near is it?"
"Ummm let's see. Oh, it is just behind your apartment building." He pointed out.
"Okay! Thanks, anyway!" You stepped out of the car and waved your phone at him. "You're a nice guy so I'll be keeping your number if I ever need you. Bye." You winked and jogged to your location.
Yamaguchi's cheeks turned red. "I love this job."
Kageyama
"Hello. I am Kageyama, your driver. Are you (f/n)-san?" The man asked in monotone.
"Yes."
"Please put on your seatbelt and we will leave to (l/n)." He instructed making you so confused. Are uber drivers this boring?
"Okay..." You responded quietly and leaned back. "Wait, I'm sitting behind. There's no need to-"
"Do you want your nose to break? Or would you prefer plastic surgery?"
"I'll put it on." You quickly put on your seatbelt.
Hinata
"I'm Hinata! You're (f/n)-san? Great! I will take you to (l/n), no problem!"
"Uh oka-"
"But firstly," His face darkened. "Your profile picture."
"Wh-What?"
"Are you a volleyball player?!" Before you could answer, he started rambling. "I'm a middle blocker but I spike like bwan! and..."
You both nearly died when his hands leave the wheel to spike the air like he was in the game.
