"I don't eat bread, it's usually poisoned." [Y/N] cut him off.
Ouyang Zizhen looked at him weirdly. "If this is some gluten-free nonsense-"
"No, actual poison."
Zizhen and [Y/N] stared at each other for a long moment in complete silence. They didn't stop until Zizhen's arms started to ache from holding the bread for so long. He was no Lan by any means. He broke eye contact to place the bread on the table in front of [Y/N].
"Well... if it helps I don't really know how to make poison? Or where to buy it..."
[Y/N] continued to stare at Zizhen. He blushed not used to someone, especially not someone so attractive, staring at him for so long.
"Uh- um-"
"Sorry, what were you saying? I was admiring the view?" [Y/N] smirked.
"I um... I don't know how to poison someone?" ZIzhen squeaked.
"Oh I know, you don't have the spine." [Y/N] shrugged and took a slice of bread.
