Wu Jin dug in and chomped on the vegetables as he chatted casually with their team captain. At some point, he suddenly noticed that Zoe had kept one of the team communication devices.

“I listened to the recordings.” Zoe smiled and patted him on the shoulder, “Little Witch’s command was pretty good.”

Wu Jin was just about to open his mouth when Zoe shook his index finger, “Don’t be modest. Nobody could’ve done better than you. I’ll report back to the battle team later and set you up as a deputy commander. I’ll talk to Caesar alone too.”

Wu Jin quickly shook his head, “The problem isn’t Brother Caesar, it’s me. I still have to keep practicing. The teams will be randomized for the next round, and I want to get some training before then.”

Zoe was stunned, then nodded slightly.

The command position was the core of the team and had the absolute right to mobilize the team. Wu Jin’s overall view and judgement of situations was sufficient, but what was lacking was the pivot point that would make others obey. Caesar’s brain was simple, and he’d been won over completely after this match and would no longer do anything out of the ordinary, but for people outside of the White Moonlight team––

If Little Witch wanted to become a qualified commander, he would need to have absolute strength over the other players.

For Wu Jin, who had only entered this profession three months ago, it would be incredibly difficult.

“Are you sure?” Zoe asked.

Wu Jin smiled and nodded.

Zoe stuffed a bunch of roasted pork at him, “Don’t push yourself too hard. For better or worse, your Brother Zoe has been watching over you for the past three months.” He looked up, “However, a randomized team can also be an opportunity. If you want to rush forward, then do so bravely. Don’t worry too much, your Brother Zoe and the company are all behind you.”

Wu Jin raised up his small round face and blushed beneath the light from the fire.

On the lawn, the evening revelry finally began in earnest.

On the stage, the program producer was still explaining the new rules for the team activity, “The group activity will start at 8 o’clock tomorrow evening. It’s the same old rules, enter ten minutes in advance, and the top 20 players as well as the top 5 teams will come to the broadcast hall to get their make-up and styling in the morning...”

“Your publicity photos will be displayed on the screen. After the system is updated tonight, there will be an additional ‘audience’s favorite on-screen trainee partner’ voting channel...”

Zoe had just poured himself a mouthful of beer and barely kept himself from spraying it back out, “It’s fine if they want to form CPs, but why package it up with such a long name?”

In the next second, Zoe’s eyes contracted abruptly. The publicity photos for the top five teams had just been released.

Jingyi’s showed their double c snipers, with their assault and support providing protection; Dolma’s had Qin Jinbao using a sharp blade to push ahead and three teammates sticking close behind; R-Code’s Wei Yan looked cold and solemn on his horse––Wei Yan had the four people climbing over the chariot from top to bottom, like monkeys hanging off a tree, and Zoe’s foot was kicking Caesar’s ass.

“......” Zoe tossed down his barbecue and didn’t hesitate to kick up a protest.

The program producer still had the same old attitude, “The publicity photos were voted on by the audience. Our jobs are also provided to us by the audience, and we should respect the choices of the audience. Oh, your variety show partner should as well.”
