Derek X's POV
it's time for me to get home and today I finally get to meet my child, Daniel.
I anxiously wait in the car ride home. I hope Daniel likes me. I can't believe I am finally meeting my son. I've waited so long and I can't wait to actually see him in person.
I get out of the car and go to the backyard. I immediately see my husband and Daniel.
I run and hug my husband first.
"Hi baby. I missed you so much" my husband says to me.
"I missed you even more" I say.
"Derek. This is our son Daniel." My husband gesture to the 6 year old boy.
"Hi buddy" I say as I get onto Daniels level.
"Hi daddy" Daniel says which instantly melts my heart.
"I missed you so much daddy" Daniel says as he hugs me.
"I missed you too Daniel. I promise from now on. I'm not leaving. I'm not going anywhere okay?" I say as I continue to hold Daniel.
"Okay daddy" Daniel says.
I'm so lucky to have a little family. I always dreamed of this day for so long and now it's finally true.
