The Audition Pt2

It's been a few weeks since judges houses now, Kat Xepher and I are currently getting ready for the live shows but we obviously needed to get to know each other. As I moved to LA not long ago I don't have many friends so Kat and Xeph are introducing me to their friends. Kat has told me to put on a bikini as we will be going in a pool. Kat picks me up in her car and takes me to a mansion
"Oh my..."
"Pretty cool huh. Wait till you see the inside" Kat says as she turns her car off. I get out and immediately Kat's by my side. She opens up the doors and I'm just speechless taking the house in
"Wow" I breath out
"Kat YN your here" Xepher runs up to the both of us and hugs us "everyone's already outside and the pizzas arrived" I follow Kat and xeph outside to see a tone of people. A guy with light brown hair walks towards me
"Hi I'm Sam, Kat's boyfriend" I shake his hand
"Hi I'm YN"
"We know these two haven't shut up about you" I chuckle
"Hey" Kat says
"Right listen up this is YN make her feel welcome" Sam shouts grabbing everyone's attention
"Let's get in the pool" Kat says taking off the dress she had on as her bikini was on underneath, I do the same as mine is also on under my dress. I follow the girls to the pool where there's a group of 5 people
"YN this is Colby, Jake, Reggie, Cassie and Kevin" Kat says as she points at each of them. I smile and shake all their hand while saying hi
"Hey they girls showed us a video of you rehearsing and you so talented" the guy called Jake says
"Aww thank you, but these two are so freaking talented as well" more people start to join us in the pool and I'm introduced to everyone
"I'm so sorry if I get names confused I'm terrible and remembering names" I laugh
"No worries there a lot of us honestly" a girl says, I think she's called Tara. For the rest of the afternoon we hang out in the pool until it starts to get cool out and dark. I sit at the edge of the pool
"Hey you ok?" A voice from behind me says. I turn around
"Colby right?"
"That's me. What are you doing out here on your own"
"Sometimes I like to come outside when it's dark on my own to think of music"
"You write songs?"
"Yeah I have a huge book at home full of lyrics for songs"
"That's so cool. So the girls said you moved over here not long ago, what made you move?"
"Oh well I'm originally from Kansas and I asked my parents if we could move here so I could get a career in music. What about you? Are you from LA?"
"No weird coincidence but I'm also from Kansas"
"No way that's crazy"
"Yeah me, Sam, Jake, Reggie and Cassie"
"Jake and Reggie are the ones that look the same right?"
"Yeah they're brothers"
"Ah makes sense I thought they most be related"
"Hey what are you doing tomorrow?"
"we're rehearsing for the live shows but I'm free after 4 why?"
"Would you maybe want to hike up to the Hollywood sign?"
"I'd love to"
"Hey are you two gonna come back in we're doing karaoke" Sam shouts from the back door. Colby and I both get up and head inside
"Ok I think The Blue Roses should give us a little song"
"Oh gosh" I say as I'm given a karaoke mic.
For the rest of the evening I get to know everyone better, we sing we dance and I feel a lot closer to Kat and Xepher. The next day we rehearse then Colby and I do our hike. I can tell that I'm going to get on with these people.
