Execution Rocks Pt3

Sorry it's taken a while to get part 3 out. This is going to be a long one but I don't want to make to many parts, hoping that it will be this part then part 4 and 5 then that's it.

After Elton apologised to both me and Corey multiple times and even gave me a hug, it was time to get the next part of the investigation ready, once I had calmed down of course. Elton gets out the suitcase he hand brought with him and carries it over to the table when the rest of us are. We get out the equipment and Elton explains to us all what the devices do and how we are to use them. One of the devises Corey is holding up flashes up words
"Nana" Corey looks at it confused
"It kinda sounds like what kids do. Ya know nanana I win I win, ya know" I say stood behind Corbin
"Reveal" Corey puts a hand on Elton's shoulder  "what are we about to do right now?" Corey nervously says referring to what we're about to do
"Or whatever's here is scared of what's in that bag" Corbin says. I slightly hit him on the back
"Anyone noticed how foggy it's just become?" I ask looking around
"It's super foggy" Corey says. The device that detects energy and beeps when something passes by it, starts to beep over and over again. It's literally going crazy
"I don't think I have ever see it do this before?" I say shocked.

While Elton is setting up the objects on the table, Corbin and I have a little chat a little away from the group
"I'm going to ask him tonight, I'm probably going to die but it will be worth it" Corbin whispers
"Yeah well he will probably kills me as well. You know he's always said I'm not to date one of his friends"
"I just presumed he was on about Colby and Brennen specifically" I laugh a little at Corbin's attempt to lighten up the mood
"Come on we better go back to the group before anyone get suspicious" I take Corbin's hand and walk back to the group.  All the time we have been out here we can here a ship coming then it stops the starts again the device keeps beeping
"If there are any spirits with us still use this device in front of us and put your hand on it to get it to spike a till bit for us to let us know that your still here"
"Really Corey? Sam and Colby's ghost hunts were one thing but I never felt like I was in any danger"
"And you do now?" Corbin asks
'Yeah" I breathe out of course the device spikes. Elton starts to walk towards it with the doll in his hand. Every time he gets closer it beeps, when he moves the doll away it stops "It's the fucking doll" I throw my hands in the air "of course it would be the doll. This is like some horror movie type shit and I'm gonna be killed off first because the doll always goes for the person who's afraid of them first" I start to ramble so Corbin takes my hands and squeezes it slightly in his. I smile a little up to him
"What the hell is going on?" Brandon asks in shock, to be honest were all in shock right now
"What if someone has been here but they didn't leave?" Elton says nonchalantly
"Really Elton?" Corey sighs
"Can we just get on with what we came her to do. The sooner we do it the sooner its done" I say freaked out
"And the longer we have to be around these haunted things" Elton points out
"Ok you know what, changed my mind. Elton I cant believe I'm ever going to say this, but carry on playing with the doll"
"Nope to late"

Elton starts to get out some boxes and begins to open them. The first one is an ouija board of some kind
"So I have realised that bad spirits like to talk on the board" Elton put down the planchet
"And this is why we stay away from them. Seriously Elton what the fuck are you playing at?" I groan at my older brother
"If it's a bad idea to play the board make the device in front of us beep" Corey asks and a few seconds later the device beeps "so we shouldn't use this board?" it beeps again causing Elton to actually look a little worried. Corey puts his hand on Eltons shoulder
"I'm not playing with this" I point to the board. Elton starts to touch the board with makes the other device go off
"Ok stop it Elton stop touching it" Corbin says
"Put it to goodbye" Corey tells Elton so he does which makes the device stop beeping, but Elton just likes to push the boundaries and he pushes the planchet towards the beeping device which it of course goes off again, he moves it away and it stops. He turns the board around and tests it again in the same place that he pushed the planchet the first time he did it again which still made the device beep.

Before I even know whats happening  Elton gets out another package and it's a little box
"Out of everything I have this is the worst one. You want to know how bad it is? I don't even want to open it"
"Oh fuck off" I throw my hands in the air
"And wanna know something. That's not a dybbuk box"
"It's not? Who's going to open it?" Corey asks
"You don't. It's an offering"
"To what Elton?" Elton ignores me and gets out the next objects
"Why did you by these?" Corey asks
"This is some cult shit" Corbin says scared. Elton starts to open the little black box. He continues to open more boxes up revealing voodoo dolls, a wand and so much more
"I love you Elton I really do but what are we about to do right now, this looks like some black magic shit" I say scared. Corey nearly jumps 3ft in the air as Elton is explaining what were about to do
"I swear I just saw someone walking then id disappeared right passed the doll" Elton carries on setting up the table ignoring Corey
"The last item" Elton hands Corey a piece of paper
"Dear Elton below you'll find the information you requested regarding the dybbuk box, ok that's all I need to know" Corey hands Elton the letter back. Elton carries on reading the letter that basically some witches had sent him "so I found a coven which is for the record..."
"12 witches" I finish Eltons sentence "they are extremely powerful, one on their own is powerful enough so imagine 12" Elton then gets out the dybbuk box that was at the conjuring house.

I hate saying this but we finally get on with what were meant to do with these objects. Brandon turns the beeping device back on and it starts going off like crazy. Elton turns off the device while they are talking about how we have been having this box in the car with us and it's come to all the abandoned places we've been to. It's basically bad luck
"Were not opening it are we?" I ask
"No were not opening it come on" Corbin says
"We're not opening it" I would normally breathe a sigh of relief but the fact Elton is smiling makes me nervous
"So what are we doing? You didn't bring all of these objects for nothing" I say
"If the good spirits are here and think this is a bad idea and that Elton should take the dybbuk box back then make the device spike" Corey asks, but nothing happens
"It's like all the good spirits have gone" Corbin says
"Or all of the spirits are gone and we've just hit the reset button" Elton pats the box
"Hmmm" Brandon hums

Brandon lights a fire and we start eating some food, to be honest this is nice just having 'normal' time for us to hang out. Elton and Corey of course lighten up the mood
"Ok so" Elton suddenly get serious "whats the deal with you two" Elton points between Corbin and I. Corbin looks at me then back to Elton "tell me the truth"
"The truth? Well the truth is I like your sister, a lot. Over the past few months we have been getting close and when we get home I would like to take her on a proper date" I smile at Corbin
"I'm her brother, she will always come before friendships. So I need to tell you, if you guys date I will take her side, over and over again. You will be dead to me if you ever hurt her got it?"
"Yeah I know"
"Then I guess you guys can date, but no kissing or anything in front of me"
"Deal" I says holding out my hand to Elton who takes it and shakes it. Now Corbin and I don't have to hide the fact we like each other, well not that we were doing much of a good job in the first place.
