The Stanly Hotel Pt1

This one will be in a few parts as the Stanly Hotel series was fairly long. Thank you @astridnaomiwatson for this request. I hope you enjoy it ❤️

Corey and I get a knock on our door, I open it up to see Sam and my brother Colby
"Corey did you invite Sam and Colby over?" I call to my boyfriend of 2 years who's in the kitchen
"Nope" Corey comes over putting his arms around me
"Get in the car" Colby says forcefully "both of you" I grab my phone and keys laughing while Corey gets in Colbys car. I lock the door and get in next to Corey
"This is like our own personal Uber" Corey says doing a little shimmy with his shoulders
"Why do I feel like I'm being kidnapped?"
"We're getting the squad back together" Sam slightly yells at the camera
"So we're gonna pick up Elton as well?" I ask
"No" Sam says
"Oh. So who else is joining us?"
"We're going to get Aaron then go to our apartment complex and grab Jake"
"Oh god" my eyes widen
"Babe what?"
"That means we're summoning demons" I fake cry.

Once we get Aaron and grab Jake and head back to Colbys apartment Corey and I sit down on the couch
"We've gathered you here today for one reason and one reason only, we're going to the Stanley Hotel" Colby says while Sam has the camera pointing to us
"Oh hell no" I stand up and cross my arms
"When are we going?" Corey asks
"Tomorrow" Colby puts his hand on Corey as Corey shakes his head and Jake just looks confused
"What? Fuck sake Colby why do you do this to me?" I dramatically flop back down on the couch as the boys at laughing at me
"So we're going to the place the shinning is based off" Corey says shocked
"Wait what? I love the shinning I'm so down this is gonna be sick" Jake smiles as if he's been told he's won a golden ticket to willy wonkers chocolate factory.

Sam talks about how a lot of people have nightmares at the hotel and different story's about how haunted the hotel is. Sam then mentions that we have a psychic coming to speak to us to try and make sure we stay protected. She walks in and Corey introduces himself
"Corey" they shake hands
"Hi I'm Nadia" she turns to me
"I'm YN nice to meet you" I shake her hand
"You too" she then turns Jake
"I'm Jake"
"Hi Jake" Jake gets out his little nest of blankets
"Have any of you ever been read by a psychic?" Sam asks
"I have a while ago" Corey says and proceeds to tell us about how the psychic had told him about his family. Everyone sits down, me in between Corey and Colby and the the psychic starts reading our auras
"Is this going to be painful" Colby jokes making me roll my eyes
"Tremendously but your necklace looks painful" she jokes back
"Oh yeah it is, I like pain" I lean over to Corey and whisper
"Do they want a room or?" this makes Corey laugh as he pulls me in to him slightly
"Ok so we are attracted to different coloured auras. You are wearing yellow which is the general colour I picked up for you" Nadia points to Sam "which is kind an adventurous leader kind of spirit. Which is fun, a lot of good things up ahead"
"That's good" Sam nods happy with what she said
"For you I'm getting blue" Nadia turns to Colby "blue is more of a creative spirit, loyal, sensitive and moody. Blue and yellows work well together so you two would be a good team"
Sam and Colby look at each other and smile "ok for you I see pink" Nadia now points to me "pink means love, friendship and sincerity. Your a very romantic person and will do anything for the people around you"
"It's crazy how spot on these are" Jake says. Nadia continues to tell the others about their auras, apparently Corey and I are a good match which is good!
When's the trip?" Nadia asks
"Tomorrow morning" Colby says
"Ok first of all let me just talk about your futures. So yours is fine" she points at Jake "yours is fine" she points at Sam "now you 3 have something going on you in particular will be dealing with something from your past. This will slightly effect you" she points at me "but your going to be fine" Nadia then tells us about different things and ways to protect ourselves, one thing she told us was to wear the colour green. After we say goodbye and Nadia leaves Colby drops us home and we pack up what we need for the trip. Then we go to bed knowing we need to be awake early.
