Jack's POV
"Jack truth or dare?" Jonah asked me.
"Dare," I answered confidently.
"I dare you to go upstairs and tell Daniel you love him, but after he replies say it was a joke," Jonah said with a smirk. It could be a good thing because I actually love Daniel, more than a friend, but he's going to hate me.
"That's so mean," I argued.
"He'll laugh when he knows it was a dare, it's fine," Jonah said. I sighed then got up and walked upstairs.
I knocked on Daniel's door nervously and he opened the door with a smile. He let me in and we sat on his bed.
"What's up?" Daniel asked.
"I need to tell you something," I said quietly.
"Ok, I'm all ears."
"I love you Dani, more than a friend way," I mumbled. Daniel sat there in shock as he looked at me.
"Jack, I um," he started. I smiled and let out a small laugh.
"It was a prank," I blurted out. Tears grew in Daniel's eyes and that's when I knew I messed up.
"Get out," Daniel instructed coldly.
"Daniel it was a dare bro," I reasoned.
"For you it was! I'm in love with you Jack and I've been waiting for you to say those three words to me for a VERY long time, and when you actually said them I was so happy but it clearly meant nothing to you. So get out," he said as tears started pouring out of his eyes.
"Daniel I'm so sorry I-."
"Please just go," Daniel whispered. I nodded with tears in my eyes and left. I saw the boys waiting down the hallway and they looked at me with smiles.
"What happened? Did he laugh?" Jonah asked. I shook my head as a few tears fell onto my cheeks. "Bro what's wrong?"
"He actually loves me, and I love him too, so so much. And now he's pissed at me and he will probably never forgive me," I sobbed. Jonah came over to me and hugged me.
"I'm so sorry Jack, I wouldn't have done that if I knew, I'm so so sorry," he said quietly. I sobbed into his chest and he held me tightly.
The other boys stood there in shock, they never knew I liked Dani, god, they never even knew I was gay, they only knew Daniel was gay.
"What should I do?" I asked as I pulled away from the hug and wiped my tears.
"I'll go and tell him that it was my fault, and that you actually love him, then we can switch spots and you ask him on a date, simple as that," Jonah explained.
"Ok, if you say so," I agreed. Jonah and I walked over to Daniel's bedroom door, Jonah knocked and I stood away from the door so Daniel wouldn't see me if he answered.
"Go away," Daniel sobbed. My heart broke hearing him like that.
"It's just me I promise," Jonah said.
"Fine," Daniel agreed. Jonah went inside and I put my ear to the door to listen. "What do you want?"
"I'm here to tell you that the dare was completely my fault, and I'm sorry. And Jack does truly love you, and this isn't a dare or prank, I promise. I think you should give him a chance," Jonah explained.
"He really loves me?" Daniel asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, he does, he even told me," Jonah said quietly.
"Can you tell him to come in?"
"Of course."
I took my ear off of the door as it opened and Jonah motioned to inside the room, I went inside and sat beside Daniel on the bed. I saw Jonah close the door and wink at me.
"I'm so so sorry Dani, I was honestly kind of mad at Jonah when he gave me that dare," I said with my head down.
"It's ok Jack, I forgive you," he replied, pulling my head up with his finger. I gave him a weak smile then held his hands.
"Would you like to go on a date with me?" I asked shyly.
"Of course Jack," Daniel said with a smile. He hugged me tightly and I placed a kiss on his shoulder.
When we pulled away I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"Be ready in an hour, dress casual," I told him. He smiled and nodded then I left his room to get ready. Zach, Corbyn, and Jonah all came to me and patted my back with smirks on their faces.
"Jack's gunna get some!" Zach shouted, Daniel heard it and I heard him giggle.
"Shut up Zachary," I shouted and rolled my eyes. I heard Daniel giggle again and a huge smile appeared on my face.
"Better get ready, make sure nothings too tight, ya know it has to be easy to take off," Jonah said with a smirk.
"Oh my god shut up," I said and hit his shoulder.
"Ok ok, but go get ready," Jonah said and pushed me into my room and closed the door.
"Was the shove really necessary?" I shouted through the closed door.
"Yes!" I heard Jonah shout back. I rolled my eyes and laughed then started getting ready.
I put on black ripped jeans and a black hoodie, I put gel in my hair so it stayed and I also brushed my teeth so they weren't yellow.
When I was done getting ready it was time to go so I went downstairs to wait for Daniel.
When Daniel came down the stairs I smiled at him and took his hand.
"You look handsome," I complimented. Daniel blushed and smiled at me.
"You too," he replied shyly. I smiled then opened the door for him.
"Let's go," I said.
"Get some!" I heard Corbyn shout from the living room.
"Oh my god shut up Corbitch!" I shouted back. I walked out the door and shut it quickly before they could embarrass me more.
Daniel and I got into my car and I took his hand into mine as I started backing out of the driveway.
"Where are we going?" Daniel asked.
"That's a surprise," I answered. Daniel sighed then smiled.
"Ok then."
When we arrived at our destination we were at a beach. We got out of the car and I brought the two towels from the trunk with us.
"Let's go swimming!" I told Daniel.
"I didn't wear my bathing suit," Daniel argued.
"Me either. Just wear your boxers we're the only ones here," I told him.
"What if someone comes?"
"Who's going to come to a beach at 9:00 at night? Stop being so hesitant," I said as I took off my hoodie.
"Fine," Daniel agreed then started stripping. I took off my pants then when Daniel was also just in his boxers I pulled him by his hand to the water. We both fell in with a splash and we started laughing.
We started a splash war with each other and we were laughing the whole time.
When we were finished the splash war Daniel came over to me and straddled my waist. "Thank you for this, it's amazing," he said with a smile.
"Your welcome," I replied. Daniel brought his lips down to mine and they connected smoothly. I wrapped my arms around his waist, bringing him closer to me, he wrapped his arms around my neck, deepening the kiss.
When we pulled away we smiled at each other and I placed a soft kiss on his lips. He blushed like crazy and I smiled at him.
"That was my first kiss," Daniel said shyly.
"Damn Daniel, you're a pro," I said with a smirk. (A/N anyone remember the damn Daniel days??😂) He blushed even more and I kissed his cheek. "You're cute when you blush," I said, causing his face to turn completely red. I giggled at his adorableness and he smiled. "Will you be my boyfriend Dani?"
"Of course," He replied. I brought my lips to his and we shared a passionate kiss.
The most amazing night to spend with the most amazing person.
