'Well, you already look like a cockroach'

I watched nervously as Merlin dropped the pieces of the amulet on the marble table, a thoughtful sigh leaving his lips as he analysed the pieces carefully.
"Hmm, this thingsmagij went here, and that doohickey, well..." Merlin mumbles to himself as he puts the pieces together, pausing as another rumble shook the ground. "Would you please be quiet?"
"It's not us, it's the rubble!" Toby whisper yells to the man.
"Get out soon" Aaarrrgghh grunts making me nod.
"Use some of the rubble to seal off this chamber and buy us some time" Blinky tells the group.
"This could be trapping us in here and inevitably suffocated us" I say to the troll as I start to pick up a pile of crystals laying on the floor, dropping them near the entrance to seal it off.
"Well, it's better then drowning" Claire shrugs as she drops another pile on the ground.
I suddenly pause as I look to my hands confused.
"What am I even doing?" I mumble as I use my powers to levitate a ton of rocks and crystals, holding them infront of the wall.
"I fear we haven't much time" Blinky says nervously as I continue to hold up the rocks in a wall, nervous to let it go in fear of them all falling.
"I'm doing my best. It's been centuries, do you understand?" Merlin says annoyed as he continues to screw random things together.
"Okay, let go" Blinky tells me, causing me to turn to him unsure.
"Are you sure? I think it'll-" I start but Blinky just shakes me off.
"It'll hold! Let go" Blinky instructs making me sigh, lowering my hands.
The rocks seem to stay in place for a few seconds, before they all go tumbling down making us jump back.
"Uhh, can we get an ETA on the fixing there, Merle?" Toby nervously calls to the old man. "Mind if I call you Merle?"
"Not if you mind spending the rest of your life as a cockroach" Merlin tells Toby annoyed as he glances back to us, before turning back to his work.
"Well, you already look like a cockroach" I joke to the boy, getting a huff from Toby. "Oh come on! I'm joking!"
"You've used that joke too many times for it to be a joke" Toby says with a pout.
Suddenly a huge flush of air went flying by us, almost making me fall backwards as we all gasp.
"Well, that felt like a breath of fresh air, huh? It was getting stuffy in here" Toby says as he looks back to the open entrance.
"That wasn't a breath" Claire tells the boy.
"That was a floodgate!" Blinky cries in panic as I nervously watch the entrance, not being able to look away.
"A piece is missing" Merlin suddenly says as he places the amulet on the table.
"Guys, the water is getting closer!" I yell as I hear the water getting louder and louder.
"I gave you every piece I had!" Jim tells Merlin confused.
"Guys!" Toby yells as the water suddenly comes flashing towards us.
I don't waste a second before I raise my hands and hold it back, but more water kept coming and putting pressure on the water I'm already holding back.
"I can't keep this up!" I yell in a strained voice, glancing back to the group and catching Jim's eye as panic is written all over his face.
"Keep that water back!" Merlin yells to me before looking to Jim. "Your girlfriends fine, focus. We need a small piece, something that can fit right here-"
I start to drown out the conversation as I feel myself being strained. F/c energy surrounded the water as I pant. I can't keep this up, but I can't let my friends drown.
"Your doing great Y/n!" Toby tries to encourage me as he stands a few steps behind me, obviously trying to keep a distance between him and the water incase I collapse. "Just don't let go!"
"I wasn't planning on it!" I yell to the boy in annoyance, already feeling exhausted.
I should not be doing this. I only just got my powers back, I shouldn't be straining myself like this, especially since I don't have my bracelet to maintain my powers.
"Finished" Merlin announces as he hands Jim the amulet.
"Now what am I supposed to do?" Jim panics as he looks to the amulet and then to me, worry evident on his face.
"Your the Trollhunter, and you alone must tap the amulets true potential" Merlin says to Jim.
Suddenly water starting rushing out through the gaps in the wall, making me yell as I move my hands to the side to try and hold it back, but more starting to come rushing through on my other side.
"Y/n, retreat back!" Jim yells as the water seems to be floating all around my body as I try and control it, failing miserably.
I do what he says, slowly taking steps back towards the group as I try and hold the water back. I stop just infront of Jim, holding the water right in front of us as I feel my body start to shake.
"For the glory of, well, you, daylight is mine to command!" I hear Jim yell from behind me as a bright blue light flashes in my vision. "And daylight will protect us"
"Y/n, let go!" Jim yells.
I don't waste a second before I lower my hands, the water flushing towards me but Jim quickly grab any arm and pulls me behind him, holding his sword in front of him. He strikes his sword down on the water, and it seems to bend on his command, flushing past us and successfully stopping us from drowning.
"Your doing it Jimbo! I don't know what your doing, but your doing it!" Toby yells to the boy with a cheer.
I watch in amazement as the water flushes past us, kind of like in Moana when the water made room for her to walk in the sea.
I watch as Jim angles his sword, making the water knock back a crystal that falls to the ground, revealing a way out of the stupid chamber we're in.
The water finally disappears as Jim falls to his knees in exhaustion, only his sword holding him up.
"Jim, are you alright?" I worry as I kneel down infront of him, cupping his face in my hands as I inspect him.
Jim just tiredly smiles at me as he places his hand over mine.
"I'm fine, don't worry" Jim says with an amused smile, making me roll my eyes fondly.
"I'll aways worry when it comes to you" I whisper with a small sheepish smile, blushing as Jim stares at me with that dorky look he always does.
Jim doesn't say anything else but softly leans his forehead against mine for a second, a small gesture that leaves me feeling a lot calmer after the events that have just happened.
We ignore the squabbling of the rest of the group as they look out to our way of freedom, and decide to give ourselves a moment for just us. It's been awhile after all.
We pull away at the sound of footsteps and I spot Merlin making his way over to us, an amused smile on his face.
"Sorry to interrupt" Merlin says as I smile sheepishly while Jim flushes red.
"H-how did you know I could do this?" Jim asks breathlessly, standing up and holding out a hand for me, pulling me up beside him.
"You can do more than you realise, and you will" Merlin tells Jim as the boy just looks to him confused and exhausted.
"How?" Jim asks tiredly.
"When you help me destroy Morgana" Merlin tells Jim, turning around and leaving Jim to stare at the man dumbfounded.
"I hope he's joking" I mumble as I watch him leave.
"I have a feeling that Merlin doesn't joke about things like this...he's not you" Jim says with a small smile in my direction, making me chuckle and nudge him in the side.
"Shut up, I give you all amusement" I say as Jim just hums in neither agreement nor disagreement, but wraps his arm around my shoulders nonetheless.
"Whatever you say" Jim mumbles as we start to walk after the others, a bit behind them. "Oh shoot! I forgot to message my mum!"
"Oh shit me too!" I curse as we both quickly grab out our phones, tapping our fingers against the screens at a rapid pace. "Okay, I said all good here, didn't die. Here's a photo of us very much alive"
"Photo?" Jim mumbles in confusion as he looks up, only to be strangled by me as I wrap my arm around his neck and force his face into a selfie with me, our faces squished together, before sending it to my Mum and Barbara. Jim quickly looks down at my phone, smiling fondly at the photo. "Cute"
"What did you text your mum?" I ask as I remove my arm from his neck and instead lace my fingers with his, swinging them between us as we walk.
"I said we're all okay. Gunmar got the staff, but we found Merlin with a thumbs up and smiley emoji" Jim says proudly, as I just roll my eyes at him.
"You text like such an old person, it's honestly kind of cute" I tell the boy as he gives me an offended look. "Don't look offended, I just said it's cute"
"Yeah, but you call everything cute" Jim mumbles grumpily as I laugh.
"I do not!" I defend.
"Whatever you say" Jim shrugs as I just nudge him again. "What do you want to do when we get back?"
"Jim, knowing our luck, something will happen before we even make it back to your house" I chuckle.
"Yeah...your probably right" Jim sighs.

Yeashhh, short chapter. And it kinda sucks so sorryyyy
I just cant merge episodes together so I just finished this one here, but I added some cute Y/n and Jim moments to make up for the short chapter HAHA
Btw, Y/n's powers are a bit more everywhere bc of the bracelet being destroyed (as it was her main source of power) and was basically like when your riding a bike but you have training wheels first
I don't know if that made sense but I hope you got it LOL
