The silence after was deafening as the parents sit there in shock.
"Oh" Javier mumbles, breaking the shock as he sits down next to my mum. "Well, at least that's better than the alternative, am I right?"
My mum simply elbows the man in annoyance, not taking her eyes off me.
"Everything my mother said is true" Jim explains looking at Barbara.
I watch as a small smile appears on Barbara's face, clearly happy that he's finally admitting it.
"I am-" Jim starts to say before groaning as I elbow him. "-we are...trollhunters"
Claire and I awkwardly smile as Toby does a jazz hands with a small 'ta da'.
The silence after was worse than the first as we wait anxiously for our parents reactions.
"That's enough of this nonsense" Ophelia suddenly says as she stands up. "We are leaving"
"Sit down and let them finish" My mother says as she stares at me with a mixture of confusion and hurt.
Ophelia doesn't argue for once and instantly sits down.
"Kiddo, maybe you should show them rather than tell" Barbara says as she grabs Jim's amulet off the table and throws it to the boy.
"Nana, you might want to turn down your hearing aid" Toby says as his nana does what he says. "And could you pass me that thingy?"
"Here you go, War King" His nana chuckles as she throws the handle of Toby's hammer towards him.
Toby holds it in front of him before taking a deep breath and pressing the button, his warhammer appearing as he starts to float in the air as all the parents watch with dropped jaws.
Claire smirks before holding her hand out for her staff.
"Azazazuth-Kinekh-Thoon!" Claire yells as her staff flings out of her fathers hand and flys into her own, the girl spinning it around her before it starts to glow purple as the parents gasp.
"Alright, sorry mum" I mumble as I close my eyes, my hands glowing a bright F/c as I hear all the parents gasp again.
I open my eyes and hold my hands out, levitating all the objects in the living room, as well as the couches as the parents gasp in shock, holding onto their seats tightly as they float in the air.
I look over my shoulder towards Jim and nod my head at the boy as he smiles and holds out his amulet.
"For the glory of Merlin, Daylight is mine to command!" Jim yells as a blue aura surrounds him as all his armour starts to appear.
We all stand infront of our parents with proud smiles. Toby floating with his warhammer, Claire holding her staff, Jim with his armour and me with my glowing hands as I slowly levitate everything in the room back to the floor.
The parents all sit there completely shocked as my mum looks like she just saw a ghost, staring at me with such confusion that I have to look away. It wasn't until Javier starts clapping did we all look towards him.
"Still better than the alternative" He says with a smile, seemingly the only one who can talk.
Toby then lowers himself to the ground as I shake off my glowing hands (still not the best at using my powers) as we awkwardly stand there.
"So, who wants coffee?" Barbara asks in an attempt to break the silence as I awkwardly laugh.
My mums so going to kill me.

"This is the most awesome thing I have ever seen!" Javier exclaims in excitement as he inspects Jim's armour.
I chuckle with a shake of my head as Jim winks at me and summons his shield, Javier immediately gasping with a giddy smile.
"Oh! Can I get one?" Javier asks as Ophelia glared at him.
"No, Javier. This is not awesome" Ophelia says in annoyance. "Our daughter is sixteen. She can't even vote, and she's supposed to protect the world! M/n, how are you so quiet right now?"
"Because I already knew about my daughters powers" My mum says with an annoyed look on her face.
"What? What kind of parent can be okay with this? I guess I shouldn't be surprised, you aren't even there for Y/n when she needs support" Ophelia exclaims as my mum narrows her eyes at the women.
I immediately sense the tension making me awkwardly shuffle next to Claire, sharing a nervous look with the girl knowing this won't go down well.
"I'm there for her!" My mum exclaims making Ophelia scoff.
"Oh please, she's at my house more than your own" Ophelia sneers. "Of course you wouldn't know that because your always on business trips"
"Look, everyone parents differently, and I'm not liking how your completely ignoring my situation" My mum says with narrowed eyes.
"Parents differently? You don't parent at all!" Ophelia yells with her arms flying around in the air.
"Okay honey, let's relax a little bit" Javier says with an awkward smile.
"No, I've been wanting to get this off my chest for awhile" Ophelia says before looking back towards my mum. "You aren't there for your daughter. Your never around and it's effecting her more than she lets on. You need to be a better parent!"
"Oh, your critiquing my parenting when your daughter is the one with mountains of pressure on her shoulders, put there by you!" My mother yells.
Claire and I share an awkward glance, knowing all of this is true in a way.
"Oh will you both stop it! Your acting more like kids than your actual kids!" Barbara yells, immediately stopping the fight that was happening.
Ophelia says nothing, instead grabbing out her phone with a small huff, dialling a phone number.
"Who are you calling?" Barbara asks worriedly.
"The mayor. I have him on speed dial" Ophelia says with a glare as she brings the phone to her ear.
"Ophelia, you can't" Barbara says.
"Mum, what are you doing?" Claire asks in a worried tone.
"Besides showing your age with the phrase speed dial" Toby mumbles to me making me elbow him in the ribs.
"Oh. What's a speed dial?" Toby's Nana asks in an innocent voice.
"If an apocalypse is brewing under my city, it's my responsibility to stop it" Ophelia explains before a loud thump gained everyone's attention.
The loud screams of my mum and Claire's mums echoed through the house as we all turn to find Blinky and his brother rushing through the door of the basement, shutting the door firmly behind them as they pant.
"They're hideous!" Javier yells in terror as an offended look appears on Blinkys face.
"We could say the same of you" Blinky fires back as I bite back a laugh, knowing it's not the time.
Claire takes the distraction to snatch the phone out of her mums hand, quickly bringing it to her ear.
"We love what your doing, Mayor. Keep up the good work. Thanks, bye" Claire quickly says before hanging up.
"Why are you all standing around, your trollhunters are you not? Hunt them!" My mother freaks as she points a finger towards the two innocent trolls (well, one innocent and one still confused).
"M/n, he's good...the other one, not so much" Jim quickly says as he stands in front of the trolls.
"Master Jim, apologies for interrupting, but we have a little problem" Blinky explains nervously before he falls backwards from the large thump coming from Jim's basement.
"Blinky...how little is this problem exactly?" I ask in a nervous voice before the clattering of claws on the floor boards gains everyone's attention. "Oh great, goblins"
Hundreds of goblins stand infront of us, growling and hissing at all of us.
"Oh geez. These guys are the worst" Toby mutters as he holds his hammer tightly in his hand.
"We gotta get our parents out of here" Jim says quickly as we nod our heads.
More goblins seem to appear out of no where, and I'm nervous to see how many there are.
"Are those the trolls?" Javier asks as he rightly holds his wife's arm in fear.
"These aren't trolls, they're goblins" I explain as I hold my hands out, F/c energy surrounding them as I get ready to attack.
"So many kitties!" Toby's nana claps excitedly.
And then we attack.
Claire quickly runs to her parents as some of the goblins seemed to go there while Toby, Jim and I raced forward.
I throw blast after blast, green slime exploding everywhere but the goblins that I kill seem to easily be replaced by more.
I then hear a familiar squeal coming from the kitchen making my eyes widen.
"Mum!" I yell as I quickly sprint to the kitchen to find a dozen goblins all cornering her as she holds a knife in her hand.
"Y/n, get back!" My mum yells terrified.
I do the opposite of what she says and instead step forward, raising my hands as all the goblins start floating before squeezing my fists and making them all explode, green goo getting all over my mums shirt as she squeals.
"Oh my-" My mum yells in fear before looking towards me. "-Y/n, what is happening?!"
"No time, let's go" I yell as I grab her arm and pull her out of the kitchen and towards the others, but we stop short as more goblins appear on front of us.
I throw a F/c energy blast at one but fail to notice the one next to me.
"Y/n!" My mum yells as I turn around and squeal as it jumps on my head.
"Get off you stupid thing" I yell as I attempt to rip it off my head.
My mum doesn't waste a second before letting out a warriors cry and ripping the goblin off, throwing it to the ground before stabbing it with her knife.
"Damn" I mumble as my mum pants.
"Y/n, why didn't you tell me about your powers!" She suddenly yells as she turns to me with a crazed look in her eyes, some goo smeared in her hair and face.
"Mum" I whine at the question, knowing this seriously isn't the time. "Not now!"
I go to walk off and help the others but she grabs my arm to stop me.
"You said you gave up your powers, you said you wanted a normal life, but honey, this does not look normal!" She yells as she gestures to my friends fighting with magical weapons and goblins exploding into goo.
"It's complicated, you wouldn't understand" I say as I shake off her hold on my arm so I can throw a blast at an upcoming goblin.
"Then help me understand, I want to be there for you" My mum yells as she stabs a goblin that jumps towards her.
"Oh, now you want to be there for me and know about my life" I yell sarcastically as I throw more blasts at goblins.
"What's that supposed to mean?" My mum yells in an offended tone while crazily swinging her knife around at goblins.
"Don't play dumb, your never around! I barely see you anymore, I practically live alone now!" I yell as I see Toby struggling with a goblin making me throw a blast at it as we share a nod.
"That is not true! I've just been busy with work, I didn't plan to be away so much" My mum says as she looks towards me with sad eyes.
"Mum, the longest you've stayed at our house was a week, and that was only because you wanted to organise your work barbecue" I say as I levitate a goblin and slam him into the wall roughly.
"I'm sorry alright, what do you want me to do?" My mum asks desperately as she stands infront of me with goo all over her and a knife in her hand.
I look at her sadly, about to answer before the sound of Barbara voices stops me.
"Jim, Y/n? A little help in the kitchen?" She yells as I look to my mum with a conflicted face before turning around and running back towards the kitchen.
I run over and look at the scene in front of me.
A goblin with a helmet and a crossbow pointed directly at Blinkys evil brother (forgot his name, but it's not important).
The goblin spots me and Barbara at the door and points the crossbow at us as I gasp and step infront of Barbara, but Jim comes charging into the kitchen just in time, tackling the goblin to the ground.
I don't waste a second before quickly leading Barbara to the corner of the kitchen, away from the fighting.
Barbara and I hide behind the counters in the kitchen, before quickly peeking over to see the goblin on top of Jim with the crossbow pointed at his face, Jim trying to hold it back.
I share a worried look with Barbara before she looks towards the blender, then back to me as we smirk.
"Jim, I'm open!" Barbara yells as Jim looks to see his mum holding a blender.
Jim kicks the crossbow up before slamming it into the goblin making him fly upwards, making me quickly capture it in F/c energy as I throw him into the blender.
"B is for blender, furball" Barbara says as she slams the lid on the blender and presses the button, creating a gross goblin smoothie.
"Jim, your mums super cool" I say as I look down to the boy on the ground as he smiles at Barbara and I fondly.
"Oh, honey" Barbara chuckles as she wraps an arm around my shoulder, squeezing me to her side as I smile. "Let's go see where the others are"
We quickly make our way to the living room to find Toby infront of all the parents with his hammer, swinging it around at the upcoming goblins.
"Not another step vermin!" Barbara yells as she opens the lid of the blender and empty's the containments onto the ground.
The goblins eyeball seems to be the only thing that didn't get blended as we all watch it roll on the ground and stop infront of the other goblins who look at it in horror. They look back up to Barbara who innocently presses the blend button again before the goblins go scurrying away.
"That went better then I thought it would" I say before looking at everyone and realising we're missing someone. "Where's Claire?"
"What happened to my baby Claire? Bring her back to me. Oh Claire" Ophelia cries as she hugs her husband tightly as I stand there confused.
"This is bad" Javier sighs.
"Javier, our baby is out there with those trolls" Ophelia cries as I still stand there confused.
"Wait, what happened to her?" I ask as Ophelia looks to me with her lip wobbling.
"S-she opened that portal and went in there with those t-troll things! Oh, I don't know where she's gone!" Ophelia cries as she hugs Javier tightly.
"Uh, goblins" Javier corrects.
"You hear that, Nana? They get it. Goblins" Toby says to his nana who thought they were cats the whole time.
"Don't worry darling, we will get her back" Javier says to his wife as he pats her back.
"She has her staff, right? She'll be okay?" Toby says to Jim and I as I stare at the ground with wide eyes.
Suddenly a portal opened and Claire came falling out of it. Ophelia and Javier gasp and rush towards her.
"Claire! Claire! Are you okay?" Ophelia gasps as she hugs her daughter tightly.
"I've been better" Claire sighs as she happily accepts the hug before hugging her dad.
She looks up to me as I sigh and walk over, crouching down and hugging Claire tightly.
"Claire, what happened?" I mumble before pulling away from the hug as Claire looks to the ground.
"I'll tell you after" Claire mumbles back as I nod and smile at her.
We then look up to find Ophelia on her phone again, and we can already guess what she's about to do.
"Mum, you can't tell anyone" Claire says with a sad look on her face.
"I'm an adult. You don't tell me what to do" Ophelia says with a roll of her eyes.
"Claire's right" Jim says as he steps forward. "You can't tell anyone. If you tell anyone about this, Gunnar will make sure it's not just us in danger, it's everyone"
"And Jimbos the only one who can stop him" Toby says as I look to Jim with a pointed look.
"With our help. We're a team after all" I say as a smile appears on Jim's face.
Ophelia looks down to her phone, still conflicted on what to do.
"Listen, I believe in my child and I need you to believe in yours" Barbara explains as I glance to my mum who meets my eyes. "We have to protect them the way they are, not the way we want them to be. We don't have ordinary kids"
"Mines a descendant of an enchantress" My mum adds with a small smile as I watch Ophelia chuckle slightly.
"I know this sounds crazy. I know this goes against every parental instinct. But we have to trust them, to protect not only us, but the fate of the world" Barbara explains as I share a smile with Claire.
"Thanks mum" Jim mumbles with a happy smile on his face.
Ophelia continues to stare at her phone, before hanging up as we all smile.
I quickly stand up from the ground and make my way over to Jim, Claire close behind me.
"Hey, you alright?" Jim asks as I glance to my mum before back to him.
"I think, you?" I ask as Jim smiles at his mum.
"I'm good" Jim says as I smile.
"Guys, I saw something in the shadow realm" Claire suddenly says as I look to Claire with intrigued eyes. "It was like seeing memories from Morgana"
"You mean you saw another magic Morgana memory?" Toby asks nervously.
"I saw- I saw Jim's amulet and a staff" Claire says as she looks towards Jim.
"She had visions" Blinkys brother gasps as Blinky shakes him away.
"What sort of staff?" Blinky asks as he walks over to us.
"It has a green gem" Claire explains.
"Staff of Avalon" Blinky says with wide eyes. "Legend says it's in Merlin's tomb"
"I also saw...Angor Rot" Claire says as my eyes widen.
"Angor Rot? Are you sure?" I ask as the girl nods.
"See, I was telling the truth" Blinky brother says to Blinky (clearly eavesdropping on our conversation).
"He's back and he's after you" Claire tells Jim as I look to the boy nervously.
"Are you serious? Did you see anything helpful in those visions of yours?" Toby asks as I nervously grab onto Jim's hand.
"Yeah. I found a way to Merlin's tomb" Claire says as I watch the girl carefully.
"That's helpful" Toby says but I shake my head knowing there's more.
"There's a but isn't there?" I say as Claire glances to me and back to Jim.
"Yeah. Jim, to find Merlin's tomb, your gonna have to destroy your amulet" Claire says as a deafening silence follows her words.
That's not good.

I just imagine them fighting with so much chaos going around and it's just funny in my head lol
