"These are all the books I could find, surprisingly, there are not many troll books in human libraries" Claire jokes as she drops a stack of four books onto our table in the corner of the library.
"Thanks Claire, I appreciate you helping me with this" I say with a small smile as the girl waves it off.
Today was the day I wanted to get my magic back (although I've been telling myself that everyday since I lost it). I had asked Claire to meet me in Arcadia library and luckily, she was more than happy to help.
"Oh, please. You helped me get un-possessed by a crazy sorceress, it's only fair I help you get your powers back" Claire says as she holds onto one of my hands before dropping it and grabbing a book. "So what are we looking for exactly?"
"Before trollmarket was taken over, Blinky mentioned this troll called Fabsidian Omar, who's family line went so far back, that a relative of his knew Amora. I want to find this troll and ask him if he knows anything" I explain as I flip through the pages of my book.
"And if he doesn't know anything? I mean, it's an old family relative. What would he know about corrupted magic?" Claire asks in a small voice, not wanting to crush my hope.
"I know" I sigh as I rub my hand down my face. "It's a long shot, but I'm running dry here Claire. A fight is surely going to happen soon and I won't be a liability during it"
"I get it" Claire sighs. "I'm just trying to look at this realistically"
"I know. Maybe I should look at this with a different approach" I say as an idea comes to mind. "Your magic was all weird because a powerful sorceress possessed you, but mines clearly because the dark magic is corrupting my light magic. Maybe, all I need to do is find the source of my magic, and like, do an exorcism on it or something"
"Okay, I get where your coming from, but how are we supposed to do that? How do we even perform an exorcism on your magic without hurting you or possibility taking your magic away altogether?" Claire asks as I slump my shoulders.
"Your right, I think we need to talk to Blinky" I say as I shut my book and starts to pack my things.
"I think your right" Claire nods.

"You want to what?!" Blinky exclaims with wide eyes, not believing his ears.
"Umm...perform an exorcism on my magic to get rid of the dark magic?" I say in a small voice.
"I was hoping I heard incorrectly" Blinky sighs. "Ms Y/n, you do understand the dangers this could have? I've never seen someone with your magic, and I don't know what could happen if we do this"
"I get that Blinky, but I can't keep living like this! I'm seeing things, my hands are turning black, my magic is darker in not only colour, but in power, and I'm afraid if I don't do anything, I'll die" I explain as I rub a hand down my face in exhaustion.
I haven't been getting much sleep after saving Claire from Morgana. I cant stop thinking about the possibility of me getting my magic back as well, and it's been keeping my mind awake.
"Hmm, I see your point" Blinky nods as he taps his chin in thought. "If we are going to do this, we will do it as safely as possible. Master Jim, Tobias and Claire will all be present, and you will do exactly what I tell you"
"Thank you Blinky!" I yell as I throw my arms around the troll, hugging him closely.
"Don't thank me yet" Blinky sighs as he pats the back of my head. "Master Jim will not be happy with this"

"You want to what?!" Jim exclaims as I wince.
"Why does everyone keep reacting like that?" I mumble.
I was currently up in Jim's room. I had already called Toby and he was all for it, but I knew Jim would be a bit trickier. Blinky said we would gather in a clearing somewhere near the woods tomorrow, which meant I had to tell Jim.
"Is it dangerous? Are you sure it'll work? What if you lose all your magic? What if you die?!" Jim stresses as he paces around his room, messing up his hair even more.
"Jim relax, I went through it with Blinky, it's completely safe" I lie as Jim narrows his eyes at me.
"You are a horrible liar" Jim says with a small smile, the nerves still present on his face.
"Am not!" I laugh as Jim rolls his eyes.
"Your voice always goes a bit lower whenever your lying, you can't trick me anymore!" Jim says with pointed finger at me, making me sigh and lay on my back on his bed.
"Stop being so observant! Jim, Blinky said he will make this as safe as he can, I promise it'll be fine" I say as I stand up and walk over to the boy, softly grabbing his hand in mine.
"I'm not going to stop you, but I'm not going to be happy about any of this either" Jim says with a small smile as I chuckle quietly.
"I get it. I-I just really need this Jim. I need my magic back" I say quietly as the boy sighs softly before wrapping his arms around me, his head resting on top of mine as I lay my head on his chest.
"I know, it's like me with being a Trollhunter, and I know you'd always support me with that, so I'll always support you with this" Jim says as I smile and look up to the boy.
"Thank you" I say quietly as he hums and softly places a kiss on my lips before pulling away with a dorky smile. "Dork"
"Your the dork" Jim mumbles as I laugh.

"Uhh Blinky? Are you sure this is safe?" I hear Jim ask nervously, and for once, I agree with him.
"Of course! All sorceresses magic comes from their blood, which means clearly your blood is corrupted" Blinky explains like it's obvious.
"So if that's the case, why don't we just suck her blood dry like a vampire?" Toby asks in stupidity.
"Because I'd die dumbass! I'm trying to get my magic back, not look like a sultana!" I say in annoyance as I adjust the blindfold on my head.
A bathtub sat in front of us with tons of ice within it, as well as some kind of crystals layered on the outskirts of the tub.
"So what does she have to do exactly?" Claire asks as she side eyes the freezing cold tub of ice and water.
"Simply sit in the tub, and we will do the rest" Blinky says as he flicks to a certain page of his book.
"At least I get the easy part" I mumble as I slowly walk towards the ice tub. "You sure this will work?"
"I'm never sure of anything, one can only hope for the best outcome" Blinky says as I share an alarmed look with Toby.
"That's reassuring" I mumble as I slowly step into the bathtub, almost instantly letting out a squeal as I quickly step back out of it. "Oh hell no!"
"Ms Y/n, do you want your magic or not?" Blinky asks as I let out a sigh, mumbling incoherent words under my breath before quickly sitting in the ice bath.
"Oh shit it's cold!" I pant as I quickly pull the blindfold over my eyes, ready to get this over with.
"Well it wasn't going to be a sauna now was it?" I hear Claire say in a smartass voice as I roll my eyes underneath the blind fold.
"Ha ha" I say dryly. "Let's just do this Blinky!"
"Yes, yes. Now I want you to close your eyes and try to relax" I hear Blinky say before he starts talking to the others. "I want everyone to chant with me 'Ukart-Koofunda', and keep going until the crystals start to glow"
"I feel like I'm in a cult" I hear Toby mumble before he groans, probably because Claire elbowed him.
"You ready Y/n?" I hear Jim ask as I let out a shaky breath before nodding my head.
"Yep, just do it" I say nervously as I lay on my back in the bathtub, the bandana covering my eyes.
"Ukart-Koofunda" I hear Blinky say. "You have to say it with me otherwise it won't work"
"Ukart-Koofunda" I hear them all start to chant as I nervously lay in the bathtub. "Ukart-Koofunda"

"Nothings happening" I hear Toby say before the sound of shushing fills my ears.
I didn't feel anything in the bathtub, only a nervous feeling in my gut but that was from the possibility of getting my powers.
What if nothing happens? That would be quite embarrassing after we all gathered here to perform some cult like ritual. What would I do though? Live my life knowing I'd never have my powers? I don't know if I can do that after everything I've been through.
"It's working" I hear Jim say as the crystals start to glow a bright F/c.
"Keep chanting!" Blinky says quickly. "Ukart-Koofunda"
"Ukart-Koofunda"
Just as I was starting to think that it didn't work, everything went quiet. I lay there for a few seconds before slowly sitting up, confused on why they all stopped chanting.
"Guys?" I ask as I take the blindfold off, only to find myself back in the darkness, just like in my dreams. "Oh no"
Panic creeps up on me as I quickly get out of the bathtub, water dripping from my clothes as the sound of the ice splashing with the water echos.
"Not here, anywhere but here" I say in a shaky voice as I wildly look around the place, panic written all over my face. "Hello?!"
The sound of a faint ringing echoes through the place making me quickly cover my ears with my hands. And then I saw it.
A dark cloud getting closer and closer towards me. I immediately turn the opposite direction and run as fast I can, not wanting the dark cloud to catch up to me.
"You've got it wrong" A voice rings through my ears but I ignore it as I continue to run. "So wrong indeed"
The voice continues to taunt me as I run before I take a step and start to fall into the abyss, a scratchy scream leaving my throat as I feel myself fall and fall.
And then I opened my eyes with a panicked breath, immediately sitting up as the sound of water splashing rings through my ears. My hands fling out and grab onto something, and I realise I'm in the bathtub again.
"Y/n!"
"Oh Merlin are you alright?"
"Ms Y/n, say something?"
I rip the bandana off my head and am met with the worried faces of all my friends. I sigh in relief as I realise I'm back, grabbing onto Jim's hand as the boy helps me out of the freezing cold tub.
"Gosh, your ice cold" Jim says worriedly as he quickly takes his jacket off and wraps it around me as I shiver.
"Well I was in ice water" I manage to say as my teeth chatter.
"Ms Y/n, what happened?" Blinky asks worriedly.
"It didn't work" I sigh as I hold Jim's jacket tighter around me. "I was just back in the darkness"
"The darkness?" Claire asks confused as I nod my head.
"I've been having dreams, and every time I'm in this darkness" I say with a sigh. "This time though, there was this voice..."
"What did the voice say?" Jim asks worriedly as I stare at the ground.
"It said I got it wrong? What does that even mean?" I ask as I look to Blinky, the troll looking to the ground in deep thought.
"It should've worked. That voice you were hearing was your magic core. You were in the right place but...maybe it's not the place where your magics corrupted" Blinky gasps with wide eyes as he quickly grabs his book, flipping through the pages.
"What do you mean Blinky?" I ask confused as I feel Jim wrap and arm around my shoulder making me lean into his warmth.
"Your magic was right. We did get it wrong. I assumed your blood was corrupted because most sorceresses use the magic in their blood, but your not that experienced yet" Blinky explains as I listen closely. "What is the object you have been using to use your powers?"
"M-my staff?" I question as Blinky nods his head, excited that I'm keeping up. "And where does your staff come from?"
I feel my jaw drop as my eyes widen in shock.
"My bracelet!" I exclaim, finally understanding. "My bracelet is what's corrupted! I don't know how to use magic without my bracelet, that's why it's been hurting me so much. Because my source of magic is corrupted!"
"Exactly!" Blinky shouts in excitement. "All we need to do is destroy your bracelet, and corruption gone!"
"But will I still be able to use magic?" I ask confused.
"It will take time to learn, but yes you will" Blinky nods as I feel a large smile appear on my face.
"Alright then, let's go destroy my bracelet!" I cheer.

I stood with Jim, Claire and Blinky near the cliff, my bracelet sitting on a nearby rock, and Toby infront of that rock with his warhammer in hand.
"That bracelet has powerful magic, and I am not sure what will be powerful enough to destroy it. Tobias, you will go first" Blinky says as Toby cockily throws his hammer from hand to hand.
"Trust me, me and my warhammer got this" Toby laughs before he lets out a warriors cry and slams his hammer on my bracelet, only for a loud bang to echo as Toby goes flying back into a tree, my bracelet still permanently in tack. "Maybe we don't"
"You alright Tobes?" Jim asks as he runs over, helping the poor boy up as he groans.
"Never better" Toby mumbles as he walks back over to the group and flops on the floor. "Who else wants to try?"
Claire came up next with her shadow staff in hand. Half of me was optimistic that this would work, but her shadow staff only creates portals and I don't think the staff is made for breaking things.
Claire let out a loud yell before she slams her staff down on the bracelet, once again nothing happening as Claire also goes flying back, this time crashing into Toby as the boy happened to be in a bad spot.
"Ooo" I grimace as Jim and I rush over and help them both up.
Next was Jim as the boy stood in his armour and his sword in hand. If anything was going to work, it would be Jim's sword...right?
Wrong.
Jim slashes his sword down and once again, nothing happens to the bracelet and Jim goes flying back into the same tree as Toby.
"This is hopeless!" I shout as I stomp over to the stupid bracelet, throwing it to the floor in anger as I stomp on it over and over. "Why. Wont. You. Break!"
"There is one other thing that could work" Blinky says as they all walk over to me. "Only thing that could destroy such a powerful magic, is the magic in question"
I stay silent for a moment as I take in his words.
"You think I can do it?" I ask Blinky nervously, glancing towards my hands.
"If anyone can, it's you" Claire says with a supportive smile.
"Okay, how do I do it?" I ask Blinky as the troll shrugs.
"I don't know, I don't specialise in your magic" Blinky says like it's obvious as I deflate. "Just focus"
"Helpful" I mumble as I grab the bracelet and place it on the rock again.
I stand in front of the rock and hold my hand out, taking a deep breath in before focusing. I close my eyes and imagine things that have made me sad or angry.
My dad leaving, Jim going into the Darklands and me losing him twice, Claire getting possessed, Vendel dying, creating the portal with Claire, Aaaarrrggghh getting turned to stone, my mum never being around, and every time I almost died by some annoying troll who wouldn't leave me alone.
I let out a yell before I feel magic leaving my fingertips, a loud bang echoing through the woods as a large gust of wind followed, nearly knocking me off my feet as I feel my hair swish behind me.
I slowly opened my eyes, a large smile appearing on my face as the bracelet sat on the rock, broken in two. I watch as whisps of black rises from the bracket before evaporating in the air.
It worked.
"It worked!" I hear Toby cheer as I feel the boy wrap his arms around me in a hug as I let out a breathless laugh.
"It worked?" I say in shock as Claire comes running towards me, joining the group hug with a cheer.
"It worked!" Claire laughs loudly as I can't get rid of the smile on my face.
I detangle myself out of the group hug as I see Jim walking over to me with a large, proud smile.
"You did it!" Jim laughs as I throw my arms around the boy.
"I did it!" I yell, seemingly too in shock to say anything other then repeating everyone else. "Wait, Blinky"
I quickly let go of Jim as I run over to the old troll, wrapping him in a tight hug, forever thankful to the troll.
"Thank you" I whisper as Blinky laughs and pats the back of my head with a fond smile.
It worked.

This is a chapter made entirely by me because I didn't think I'd find a good spot to have Y/n getting her powers back during the episodes, so I hope this was alright
