"We'd be sacrificing you first ginger"

School starts with the wail of the bell as classes began, however, Coach Lawrence had begun the lesson already as he stood in front of a projector. The image on the screen had made it clear that we were learning about the human body—which was bound to be amusing with Coach Lawrence as our teacher.
"The teeth tear and chew, grinding the food into paste before it's swallowed. Then, it travels down the windpipe...I mean esophagus." Coach Lawrence stumbles out as he awkwardly looks towards the class, pulling at the collar of his shirt.
I laugh quietly before I leaned over towards where Jim's sitting, a playful smile on my face as I continue our previous conversation.
"So...the reason you were late and covered in dirt was because you were fighting a mud monster?" I ask him with a bewildered face.
"While there was some gnarly troll watching you? Talk about creepy." Toby says with a shiver.
"I know. It was like he was studying me." Jim whispers as all our eyes widen.
"I'm sorry I didn't follow you, I could've helped" I sigh.
"It's fine, there was nothing you could do" Jim says with a small smile.
"Nothing I could do? I could've shot an energy blast at it or something!" I whisper back with narrowed eyes.
"Yeah, well you could've gotten hurt and I can't let that happen, so it's better if you're away from the mud monsters trying to kill me" Jim says making me sigh and turn around in my seat.
Stupid Jim always playing the stupid hero card. That boy has a serious hero complex.
My attention went back to Coach Lawrence who had an awkward time speaking.
"To the guts," He continues to explain as he presses his large fist into his palm. "Where the juices break it down into a bubbling nasty soup."
"What are you gonna do?" Claire whispers to Jim and Toby.
"I don't know. I haven't figured that out yet." Jim sighs as he leans his head on his hand.
"So after it weaves through this mess, it comes out the old-" Coach Lawrence awkwardly coughs before continuing. "You know...the back door"
An arm raised suddenly and it was none other than Steve Palchuk.
"Coach?" Steve asks, lowering his arm when he has everyone's attention. "Yeah, thank you. Don't mean to butt in, but I'd like to gas a question?"
The whole class—including me—started laughing at his puns, which had been his goal when he grinned smugly.
"Hey, poo's laughing?" He asks making me try and conceal a laugh with my hand.
Why do I have the weirdest sense of humour. I cant believe that I'm actually finding poo jokes funny.
"Watch it, Palchuk!" Coach warns.
"This is serious!" Steve says.
"Hey, why don't you shut your hole, Steve?" Jim says with a roll of his eyes, before face palming—realising he also made a pun.
"Oh, that's it. That's it, jokers! Both of you, principal's office, now!" Coach says angrily, while pointing at the door.
Jim and Steve slowly made their way out the door while Toby, Claire and I watch worriedly, wondering what Strickler will do to Jim.

School finished quickly for once and all of us made
our way to the Canals—listening to Jim's story about his experience with principal Strickler.
"I should have pulled Daylight on him right then and there." Jim says angrily as we all drop our bikes and pull our helmets off.
"I could've shot a energy blast or something at him" I say jokingly, making Jim smile.
"Steve would've gone bananas." Claire says with a pointed look at us.
"It's probably good you waited. I imagine murdering your principal looks pretty bad on your college application." Toby jokes making me laugh.
Jim reached into his bag, grabbing out the Horngazel.
"I'll just have to wait and get him alone." Jim says with a shrug of his shoulders.
As he pulls out the key to Trollmarket, I start to feel a weird change in the air. Everything starts to feel dark and gloomy—I look up to the sky to find it still day time and sunny.
Claire suddenly turns around, a worried expression on her face as she gasps loudly—alerting Jim, Toby and I as we watch her look around at our surroundings, finding nothing.
"What's wrong? Claire?" I ask as I lay a hand on her shoulder.
Claire looks around slowly. Nothing but a crow cawing was heard.
"I just got a weird feeling." Claire says, making me slowly look around at our surroundings.
Did we both feel the same change in the air?
"I have those all the time, it's usually after the school lunch." Toby jokes.
"No, Claire's right, something feels off" I tell them.
It feels like the light in the air got darker.
Jim just shrugs his shoulders as he heads back to the entranceway, pressing the key to the concrete. The key clinks against the hard surface, scratching it as a blue curve follows the path.
As the entranceway finally opens after Claire pressed her hand against the surface, Jim grabbed his backpack and walked through.
"Come on. Blinky said he had something urgent he wanted to tell us." Jim says as he and Toby walk in.
"Somethings off" I whisper to Claire.
She hums quietly in acknowledgment before walking in, me following after her, letting the door to Trollmarket close behind me.

Within the library of Trollmarket, Blinky swipes items off the stone table and slams a book down—causing me to jump at the sudden noise.
"I've spent nights pouring over the legend of the stones, decoding its hidden meanings. Endless, sleepless nights." Blinky says.
With excitement, Jim and I quickly walk up to him.
"The Triumbric Stones. You found something?" I ask as I lean closer—my shoulder grazing against Jim's.
"At first, I combed every library for insights, but there is nothing written. Rumors say they are tied to Gunmar's life force. So I searched for stones that would have a significance to his past-" Blinky starts before getting cut off.
"Birthstone" Aaarrrgghh finishes.
"Indeed. Such as Gunmar's Birthstone" Blinky says.
"Why is it so powerful?" Jim asks.
"Long ago, trolls lived underground, blissfully unaware of humankind above." Blinky starts.
Blinky opened the book, flipping through the pages and showing a bunch of images of the rotting heartstone and Gunmar.
"Inevitably, our worlds collided. Trolls and humans each wanted the world as their own and fought for it. Blood was shed, and our First Heartstone rotted from within." Blinky says before sighing.
"And from it, Gunmar was born" I finish, remembering reading about it in the many hours I've spent in the Trollmarket library.
"Birthstone, okay. Where would we find that?" Jim asks.
"Birthstone gone." Aaarrrgghh says.
"It was plundered before any good could come from it. But then I remembered this passage. 'Three forces Elemental thou must seek in marshland, caverns deep, and mountain's peak.' Ah. Which is elusive, but the clue-" Blinky says before Claire cuts him off.
"Is hidden in the final stanza 'mountain's peak.' It's so obvious! The stone is hidden in a mountain." Claire finishes.
"Yeah, I'm not getting it." Toby says.
"Of course you don't" I mutter before looking to Toby."Gatto's Keep!"
Blinky flipped to a page filled with dull colors, illuminating a picture of a mountain and a golden crescent moon.
"Deep in the realm of the Volcanic Trolls is a vault of the greatest treasures untold. Treasures too powerful for the underworld to possess. Treasures kept locked up by Gatto himself. Treasures like-" Blinky says before Jim cuts him off.
Everyone is cutting Blinky off, poor thing.
"The Birthstone." Jim finishes with a wide smile.
"So this Gatto has the stone that will help us get Enrique back?" Claire says while smiling happily at me.
"If I could just finish a thought-" Blinky starts before Claire cuts him off again.
"When do we leave?" Claire asks.
"Claire, let the poor troll speak!" I say jokingly.
"Wait, this sounds like a quest. This is a quest!" Toby says.
"We shall be called the fellowship of the ring!" I say jokingly as Toby lets out an excited squeal.
"Guys, we're going on our first official Trollhunters quest!" Toby says excitedly as he throws an arm around Jim and Claire's shoulders, making Jim throw an arm around my shoulders.
"Pack your bags. There's more to see in this world than you know." Blinky says happily.
"Oh, my! Oh, my! Oh, my! Trollhunter quest!" Toby squeals—the two of us sharing a fist bump.

We all quickly go home to get everything we need. I make sure to keep my bracelet on my wrist incase I need it, although I doubt it will ever come to that.
Then again, this is my first offical Trollhunters quest. I have no idea if this will be dangerous or not.
In Trollmarket, all of us once again together, headed down a stray pathway—only random Gnomes were found waddling around.
"Whoa. You've never taken us this far before." Toby says to Blinky as he looks around.
"Because out here, Tobias, there is no protection. Beyond the barriers of Trollmarket lie unforgiving realms, ripe with lawlessness. Aha! We're here. Did everyone come prepared?" Blinky asks standing in front of a staircase, leading to a closed door.
"Yeah, I've got my flashlight, horngazel, amulet-" Jim lists.
"I've got a first-aid kit, matches-" Claire says before Toby startled Claire with a taco.
"And I got tacos! Extra spicy! What? I get hungry on a quest." Toby says as we all look at him.
"Y/n?" Blinky asks.
"I brought food, bandaids and my bracelet, it's supposed to do something cool if we get in trouble" I say with a shrug of my shoulders before Blinky seizes my wrist with wide eyes.
"Oh my, I haven't seen a bracelet like this ever! Only in the books I read!" Blinky says excitedly, making me raise an eyebrow.
"You know what this bracelet does?" I ask making Blinky nod his head.
"That bracelet does wondrous things, I only hope to see it one day" Blinky says with a wistful look.
I'm about to ask what it does before Aaarrrgghh groaned.
"What's wrong, wingman?" Toby asks him.
"Hate gyre." Aaarrrgghh says.
"What's a 'gyre'?" Toby asks.
Blinky began to walk forward, the team following close behind.
"Come with me and prepare to be amazed." Blinky says.
"Seriously? You brought tacos?" Jim mutters to Toby in disbelief as he unlocked the door hiding the Gyre.
"I brought enough for everyone!" Toby says, making me hold my hand out for one, smiling in thanks as Toby hands me one.
The wall cracks, a blue light-emitting from it and opening a passageway. An empty circular platform was in the center of the room and as soon as the tip of Jim's shoe was near, the platform twisted—all of us gasping in surprise as a large circular object appeared, the rings around it shifting.
"That's the coolest troll-y trolley I've ever seen!" Toby said, gently touching it with his hand.
"Gyre" Aaarrrgghh stated, looking worried.
"Yes. A gyre. Our kind's quickest form of transportation. For the last two hundred years, trolls have used the vast network of subterranean sewers to get to any part of the world in record time!" Blinky informs as we all climb on.
The Gyre twists to face a certain direction, and I start to get nervous. If Aaarrrgghh is scared of this thing, how bad is it?
"Wait, Gatto isn't in Arcadia?" Jim asks.
"Of course not." Blinky states as he presses buttons and pulls a bunch of levers, the machine whirring to life."He lives under what you humans call Argentina."
"Argentina! That's a whole other continent, Blinky!" I exclaim.
"How long is it going to take to get there?" Claire asks with a worried expression.
"Less time than you'd think. Let's burn some tunnel!" Blinky slams his fist on a button, the gyre whining before it blasted through the tunnels.
Everyone gets pushed back due to the crazy amounts of gravity, the Gyre speeding through at a rapid speed.
Jim and I scream as we pressed against Aaarrrgghh's supporting arm—me holding onto Jim's arm with a death grip as Toby and Claire were screaming loudly from next to us. Blinky, however, was the only one enjoying it as he laughed joyously.
Soon, our screams became disoriented, everything seemed to move in slow motion. We dropped even quicker, the motion once again going at a normal pace, our screams never ceasing until the gyre came to a sudden holt, connecting itself to magnets.
"Ha-ha! A new record!" Blinky says excitedly.
"You're crazier then I thought" I manage to splutter out as I try and regain my footing.
"You see? Was that so bad?" Blinky asks as Toby runs off and vomits, leaving a heap on the station floor.
"Yes. Yes, it was." Jim says with a shaky breath.
"You alright there troll-hunter? You seem a bit pale" I manage to joke as I poke his cheek with a smirk.
"Totally fine knowing you're here to protect me" He says playfully making me punch his shoulder.
"Owww, it was a joke" Jim says making me laugh.
"Hate gyre!" Aaarrrgghh grunts as he jumps down.
"Gross Toby" Claire says while looking at the vomit.
"Don't look at it" I tell Claire as she quickly looks away at my words.
"Out of curiosity, have either of you ever met this Gatto?" Jim asks while lacing his hand with mine.
"Uh, no, Master Jim. In fact, I've done everything in my power to avoid him. Very few ever return from his keep. So-" Blinky says before being cut off, again.
"Stay close" Aaarrrgghh says as we climbed the steps.
"Agh! It's so hot. Why is it so hot?" Toby huffs.
"Because I'm here" I say with a smirk, laughing as Jim elbows me playfully.
"Because we're in a volcano, aren't we?" Claire asks as we see red cracks in the floor.
"Welcome to Ojos del Salado, the home of Gatto" Blinky says as we slowly climb each stair.
"Ojos del Salado?" Toby repeated. "Well, that's not gonna be good for my mobile plan."
The six of us stopped, two guards with their backs towards us was the cause. Jim immediately pull me closer to his side, not that I'm complaining.
Blinky had stepped forward, catching their attention.
"Uh, you there, we would most graciously request an audience with Gatto." Blinky says.
The guards turn with a deep, muffled grunt. Their faces were nothing more than metal masks with empty red eyes. Blinky gasps as he got a good look at them, all of us startled as well. The guard, without saying anything, just points at the top of the mountain.
"Thank you, kind friend." Blinky stumbles out.
We begin walking again, everyone staring at the top with worry as we carried on.
It wasn't the worst climb, but Toby seemed to die halfway through—Blinky and Jim now helping lift him to the last platform as the boy gasped for air.
"Finally" Toby whimpered in exhaustion before looking around and finding no Gatto. "Are you serious?"
"Okay, where's Gatto? They said he'd be here." Jim asked confused.
"Gatto's a real butt-snack." Toby says angrily before a large stone moved behind us, everything rumbling.
Toby let out a panicked gasped as we all turned, not seeing the large mouth opening behind us. The mysterious voice echoed as it spoke.
"Who has awakened Gatto?" Gatto says.
"Us obviously" I mumble.
"Oh, no!" Toby cried.
"Holy sheesh-kebob!" Claire says panicked.
"I am so sorry I called you a butt-snack." Toby whimpers to him.
Jim pulled out his amulet, in case of any sudden danger. Gatto couldn't help but laugh.
"A human Trollhunter? How interesting. How unique." Gatto chuckles before he must have spotted me. "Oh look, an Enchantress too"
My eyes widen in surprise, making me raise my hands and make them start glowing F/c for defence.
How the hell does he know that?
Jim turned, the color draining from his face as he figured out where Gatto was. We all turned around, the same expression on our faces when we realise.
He's the bloody rock mountain. Holy shit.
"To what do I owe this pleasure?" Gatto says with a smirk (I think he smirked at least, it's hard to tell with a rock).
"We've-" Jim's voice broke, causing him to clear his throat as I try and conceal a laugh with a cough, making him give me an unimpressed look.".. Sorry, we've come for-"
Jim gets cut off by a troll wheeling a large basket of rocks to Gatto, the large troll using one swipe of his tongue to swallow his food and the troll, who screamed on the way down.
Jim yelped, backing up away from the troll and instead standing a bit infront of me.
"Agh! Did he just eat a troll?" Toby shivers.
"You must excuse me. I never talk business without something to eat. Go on." Gatto says.
"At least he has manners" I mumble to Claire, making her swiftly dig her elbow into my side as i splutter.
"We need the Birthstone." Jim says as he regains his posture.
Gatto let out a deep laugh, the volcano seeming to rumble with him.
"The Birthstone of Gunmar? Very powerful. Why should I give it to you?" Gatto laughs.
"Because we are going to destroy him." Jim says with a stern glare, looking up at Gatto. The large troll couldn't help but let out a laugh once again.
"Why do I care? Why should I give it to you?" As he spoke, he let out a large pool of steam, causing all of us to cover our faces and look away.
"He's negotiating, Master Jim." Blinky said from behind us.
"What do you want for it?" Jim asks.
"Ooh. An answer to a little riddle." Gatto says.
"That's all? Whew. I thought Claire was a goner." Toby says causing Claire to look at him, angered that he'd sacrifice her first.
"We'd be sacrificing you first ginger" I say with narrowed eyes making Toby quickly shut up.
"Answer it correctly, the Birthstone is yours. Answer it incorrectly, I eat you all" Gatto says.
"Eat? Did he say 'eat'?" Claire squeaks out.
"Yes, humans. I hear they have a yummy taste." Gatto slurps.
"Not really, humans are kinda tangy you know, and stringy" I say to him, in hopes to convince him we are not tasty.
"Do not try and fool me enchantress" Gatto says, making me swiftly nod my head.
"Right, yep. Your right, we're delicious" I stumble out.
"He said 'eat'." Toby quivers before collapsing on the floor beside me.
"Master Jim, we must not enter into this binding agreement. I'm beginning to catch on to why so few trolls ever leave this domicile." Blinky says, nervously looking at the Trollhunter but the boy was too focused on his thoughts than to heed Blinky's warning.
"We aren't trolls though" I say gesturing to Jim, Claire, Toby and I, making Jim nod his head in agreement before turning to Gatto.
"We'll play" He says in the strongest voice he could muster, making Toby gasp.
"We need it to save Claire's brother and besides, Claire is good at riddles." I say with a smile.
"Not 'bet-our-lives'good!" Claire exclaims to me.
"You're a straight-A student!" Jim says back, clearly thinking the same as me.
"When do we go to 'riddles' class?" Claire says back.
"Ah, I am savvy with words. Gatto, do your worst. Riddle away." Blinky says as he steps over to him.
"What begins and has no end, and ends all that which begins?" Gatto says.
"I have absolutely no idea. Those words mean nothing. Indecipherable!" Blinky starts to panic.
"Blinky! Calm thoughts! Relax, relax" I say to him as he slowly calms down.
"Everyone, start thinking. We can do this!" Jim says to us.
"What begins, has no end" Claire mumbles.
"Ends beginning, ending, no! Wait, what was the question?" I mumble to myself.
"Begin, end. Begin, end. Oh, head hurts!" Aaarrrgghh groans.
"School bus? Meatloaf? Hair!" Toby starts to blurt out in his moment of panic.
"Ten more seconds." Gatto says.
"You didn't tell us we're on the clock!" Blinky says furiously.
"Oh, we're gonna die!" I say to myself.
"We aren't gonna die!" Jim says as places his hand on my shoulder.
"Kangaroo! Golf! Socks! Magic! Warhammer! Baby deer! School buses with hobos driving full of macaroni and cheese! I don't know!" Toby starts to yell.
"A loop begins and has no end, but it doesn't end when it begins. Shoot, it's not that." Claire says, starting to freak out.
"What is it?" I panic before looking at Jim, seeing his look of realisation. "Jim?"
"Wait, wait, wait! I got it! The answer is a riddle! No, that's stupid." Jim says, making me grab his hand in comfort.
"Could you repeat the question?" I ask in a small voice as Jim squeezes my hand.
"Tick-tock, tick-tock. Five seconds. Prepare the chimichurri!" Gatto reminds, completely ignoring me causing me to pout.
"There is no answer. The answer is nothing. What if there is no answer?" Toby cried as we all freak out.
"There's always an answer" Jim says.
"Then what is it?" Blinky says as he throws his hands around.
"What has a beginning...?" Claire asks.
"I swear it's been 5 seconds already" I mumble to myself.
"You know this!" Jim yells to Claire.
"Three, two" Gatto counts down.
"Cmon Claire! You have to know this!" I tell her.
"One-" Gatto counts.
"We're gonna die!" Jim yells as he squeezes my hand tight.
"Time is up!" Gatto says, right as Claire lifts her hand in the air.
"Don't raise your hand teachers pet! Say it!" I exclaim to Claire—the girl frantically nodding her head.
"Death! Death is the answer. It begins and has no end. And ends all things that begin. Death." Claire says confidently, making a huge smile appear on my face.
She did it! I hope...
"What...?" Gatto mutters in disbelief. "No one has ever answered that before"
"Oh, my gosh!" Jim sighs in relief—pulling me into a tight hug as I laugh in disbelief.
"You did it Claire" I say as I softly pull away from Jim and pull Claire into a tight hug, almost squeezing her to death.
"Too bad you won't live to tell about it" Gatto finishes with a smirk.
Can rock volcano trolls smirk?
"No!" Jim says, making me finally realise what he just said.
Guards surrounded us, pointing their axes at us.
"You were never going to give it to us! You horde treasures only to lure those into your literal trap!" Blinky yells in fury.
"You ugly, grotesque, foul, little demon troll!" I yell as I go to charge at him, making Jim quickly wrap his arms around my waist as I fight against him.
"Alright feisty pants, fighting a troll 50x your size isn't going to do anything" Jim says to me as I relax in his arms.
"Oh, come now. A mountain has to eat, you know" Gatto says with a chuckle as his vast mouth opened, all of us getting shoved forward towards him.
Acting quickly, Jim spoke the incantation, donning his armor.
With no hesitation, Jim slams his sword into the wooden planks, a large wave of blue threw the guards on the left to the side, making me throw a F/c energy blast out of my hands at the guards on the right, giving us time to run. Affected by the move, Gatto groaned, closing his eyes as he was impacted.
"What do we do now?" Claire asks as I throw an energy blast at an incoming guard.
"I don't wanna be food!" Toby yells as he and Blinky started falling into Gatos mouth.
"No!" I yell as I hold them up with the energy coming out of my hands, grunting as I try and hold them up.
Before I can try and pull them up, a guard charges into me, knocking me to the ground and making me lose my focus—yelling out as Toby and Blinky fall into Gattos mouth.
"No!" Jim yells as they fall in, grunting as Aaarrrgghh pushes him out of the way.
Realizing two of his friends were missing, Aaarrrgghh's eyes became the black abyss once again, his carvings lighting up as his anger spiked.
"Wingman! Blinky!" He lets out a growl, punching the hell out of Gatto but barely making a dent.
Jim, Claire and me still tried to hold our own in the battle, Jim doing his best to block attacks, Claire dodging her oncoming attacks from guards and me punching the guard that attacked me in the face and quickly throwing him off the side with my energy blast.
"He ate them!" Jim yells in disbelief.
"They still could be alive." Claire says as she tries to rip the axe out of the guard's hand and succeeding.
It whacked the troll in the face, letting her get a hold of it to then him in the face again, knocking the guard back.
"Coach Lawrence told us how long it takes to digest something or someone" Claire says.
"He did? When?" I ask as I quickly throw an energy blast at a guard about to attack Claire.
"Literally today! Do you ever listen?" Claire exclaims before kicking a guard at me as I throw him off the side with my energy blast.
"When I want to!" I reply, ducking as a guard try's to hit me.
"None of this makes it any better!" Jim yells as he slices a guard about to hit me, making me smile in thanks.
"Must leave!" Aaarrrgghh grunts.
"What? We can't just leave them!" I yell, my eyes widening as I realise we have been backed into a corner.
As the guards backed us further up, Gatto opened his mouth, sticking out his tongue, ready to swipe us up into his mouth of horrors.
At the sight of his tongue, Claire let out a yelp before stabbing it with the axe, the large troll howling in pain.
"Yes Claire!" I exclaim, giving her a high five.
"Come on! Let's get out of here!" Jim yells as Aaarrrgghh grabbed us and started to run off.
"Get them!" Gatto groaned.
A ding of the phone alerted Jim as we made haste to escape. Claire, Aaarrrgghh and I waiting as Jim climbed down the ladder, reading the message.
"They're okay!" Jim yells in excitement.
"They're okay? They were eaten! They can't be okay!" I exclaim, but smile nonetheless.
"Wingman, Blinky, okay?" Aaarrrgghh asks.
"They're okay!" Jim answered, staring at his device."Yeah, they say they're going for the Birthstone, and they're gonna try to find a way out!"
Aaarrrgghh grabbed the ladder, throwing a guard and the latter off the edge.
Jim turned his head to find one climbing up at us and kicking it down, taking the troll down.
"Nice" I say with a smile.
"Tell them to meet at the gyre!" Claire says as we start to take off again.
Outside, Jim received another notification. I grunted as Aaarrrgghh grabbed Claire, Jim and I and hopped from platform to platform, taking out guards.
"They found the Birthstone!" Jim exclaims as he started to run and text.
"Don't run and text you idiot!" I yell at him before my eyes widen as a huge hand infront of us, but Gatto grunts in pain—giving us enough time to get through before the hand crushes us.
"Oh no!" Jim yells as the hand got to close, making me throw my hands out and make a F/c energy wrap around his hand, giving Jim enough time to get away, the guard who had been chasing us getting crushed instead as I make my F/c energy disappear.
As we finally climes the rock, another hand nearly came down on us, fortunately, we missed it again.
"Hurry!" Jim yells.
"What do you think we're doing!" I yell back at him.
"Get them!" Gatto yells.
We stopped as we notice the chase has ended and started panting heavily.
"Where did the rest of the trolls go that were here?" Claire asked, looking at Jim as the lava began to burst out.
"I think they knew this place was gonna blow." Jim says before looking at me. "Thanks for the save with the hand by the way"
"Yeah, no problem" I say as I lean my hands on my knees, trying to catch my breath.
Jim's phone started randomly dinged, making Jim quickly grab it and look at the text.
"Okay, Toby says they're gonna go out the back door. What's the back door?" Jim asks.
Seeing where the lava pooled out—I connected the dots.
My face was a clear indication of how gross that must be.
"Gross" I mumble.
"Oh." Jim says with wide eyes.
"There they are!" Claire pointed out as they were shot out from the hole. Quickly ditching the rock, Blinky and Toby ran towards us, Blinky frantically screaming.
"Start it up! Start it up!" Blinky yelled, making Jim quickly grab my hand as we all start running.
Aaarrrgghh threw Claire, Jim and I up, us landing perfectly inside before we looked at the device, clueless on how to start it. We turned to Toby's cries, not even getting a chance to move as Blinky shoved us aside, pressing buttons.
"Leave it to me!" Blinky says.
"You infernal piece of agh-hh! Aaarrrgghh!" Blinky yells, making me think it wasn't working.
"Hate gyre!" Aaarrrgghh grunts.
"Me too buddy, me too" I say as I pat his back, or attempt to because he's so tall.
Blinky screams, slamming his fist on a button, the gyre shooting off as the lava followed.
The chaos quickly ended as we safely return back.

Toby sets down the birthstone, the team safe and calm within Trollmarket.
All of us gather around and look at the birthstone that we almost died for.
"Never in my wildest dreams did I dare think I would ever see such a sight." Blinky says excitedly.
"I'm never gonna look at food the same way again." Toby says as we all sat down.
"Indeed. We were all quite the intrepid heroes today but a special accolade to you, fair Claire, master of riddles." Blinky says.
"Yeah Claire!" I yell as I start to clap, making her slap my hands down with a bright red face.
"It was a team effort. Besides, we still have two more stones to find. The next ones might not be so easy." Claire says before getting interrupted by Toby shouting.
"Easy?" Toby yells as he steps over Blinky."We were eaten! I'm pretty sure I was technically digested and then-" Toby starts to rant before Blinky cuts him off.
"Tobias! The less said about our escape, the better. Gorgus forbid we are remembered for that in the history." Blinky says before he sneezes and breaks wind at the same time, growing nervous as Toby laughs.
"That was almost grosser than-" Toby said, but was cut off by Blinkys sudden scream.
"Don't say it!" Blinky says, making a smirk grow on my face.
"You were shitted out" I say, making Blinky scream in agony as Toby and I laugh.
"You okay, Blinky?" Jim asks.
"I'll be fine. Seems I may have been allergic to something in Gatto's belly. But nothing a good night's rest won't fix. Ah-hh-choo!" He does it once again, a troll waiter muttering as they walked by. Toby's eyes catch the tray, finding food.
"Ooh! Are these salty niblets?" Toby says as he runs after the waiter.
"What happened to never eating again?" Jim says with a smirk.
"This is troll food, not human food. There's a difference. Mmm." Toby says in delight."Not horrible. Mmm!" Toby says happily before running off as Jim, Claire and I laugh.
