Chapter 109 : ice cream shop

Cassie's P.O.V :

So after Liam and Geoff came , they sat down and greeted us , Liam was sitting in front of me . The waiter came and took our orders and while we were waiting for the food to be served we chatted .

Karen : "so what did you guys do today ???"

Liam : "we went fishing"

Ruth : "it was your idea Liam , wasn't it ???"

Liam laughed and said :

"Well you can say that , you see I have dad some options and he chose fishing so we did it"

Nicola : "and did you catch any fish ???"

This question made us all laugh .

Geoff : "believe it or not we actually did catch a couple of fish"

Karen , Ruth , Nicola , Emma and me nodded . Liam then looked at me and said :

"And what did you do today ???"

I was kind of surprised that he asked me instead of just looking at us all and asking us , I looked at him and said :

"Well we just bought a couple of things"

Liam : "and did you have fun ???"

I nodded before saying :

"And you ???"

Liam : "I did have fun"

Emma then coughed which caused me and Liam so shake our heads , it was like we were in our own world and we have totally forgotten that we weren't sitting alone . I blushed and looked down at my thighs , I only raised my head when I heard the waiter putting our orders , When he left we all started eating , we made a small talk while we were eating and after we were done Liam and Geoff paid only because Geoff insisted on paying half the price so Liam didn't really have any other choice but to let him pay the half . We all went out after that and me and the girls went to Karen's car as Liam and Geoff went to his car , I was about to get in the car when I saw Geofff coming to Karen's car and said :

"Cassie , Liam wants you to go with him and I will go with the girls"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing . I nodded and Geoff sent me a smile which I returned . I walked to Liam's car and got in , I buckled my seat belt and turned to Liam to find him smiling at me .

Cassie : "you owe me an explanation"

Liam : "okaaaaay , here is my explanation . What can't I spend some time with my babe ???"

Cassie : "of course you can but not the way you did , I am pretty sure they got suspicious"

Liam : "yeah yeah whatever"

He then started driving , Karen's car was in front of us . we stooped at a signal and Liam started smirking for a reason I don't know , I frowned my eyebrows and he just laughed .

Cassie : "you are creepy tonight , you know ?"

He didn't even answer me and when the signal was green Karen's car turned left while Liam drove straight . I frowned again and looked behind me at Karen's car and then back at Liam and said :

"Liam , you must have turned left"

Liam : "we aren't going home Cass , we are going to get some ice cream and I know that there is an ice cream shop near my parent's home but I heard today that a couple of days ago a new ice cream shop opened and people actually say that it is good so I want to try it with you"

I nodded .

Liam : "you know how I like to try new things with just you"

ok so this made me melt from the inside . I smiled and leaned forward to kiss him but he just laughed and shoved my playfully and then said :

"hey hey hey , no kisses please while I am driving , I want to reach my destination safely , I don't want any accidents here . kiss me anytime but not when driving madam"

he stopped the car in front of the shop and turned to me and said :

"we are here safely , now you can kiss me"

he leaned his face near mine and waited for me to give him a kiss but I playfully shoved him and got out of the car fast before he could catch my arm , he also got out laughing and locked the car then came to my side and whispered in my ear :

"don't worry babe next time you wont be able to run"

We then walked inside the shop and the smell of the ice cream was in the air which made my mouth water and I am pretty sure Liam's mouth also watered because he was licking his lips . we went to the counter and when Liam finished paying and ordering , we went to choose our ice cream flavors . I chose chocolate and mango , Liam on the other hand chose vanilla and strawberry . we went and sat down , once we licked our ice creams we both moaned .

Liam : "wow the best Ice cream I have ever tasted"

I nodded agreeing with him . after about five minutes , we heard a girl looking like 16 or 17 years old whispering to her friend :

"OH MY GOD , LOOK WHO IS SITTING THERE . DO YOU THINK HE CAN TAKE A PICTURE WITH ME ???"

The girl was not really whispering because we could hear her but she wasn't screaming either , Liam gave me a wink and I understood that he will go and surprise her by taking a picture with her , I nodded , he then gave me his ice cream and stood up and walked to the girl , she of course didn't believe that he actually went to take a picture with her and she started crying , he calmed her down and took a couple of pictures with her and her friend , meanwhile I was teasing him by eating from his ice cream , he came back after saying good byes to the girls and sat down and I handed him the ice cream and played cool .

Liam : "did you really think that I didn't see you eating my ice cream ???"

he narrowed his eyes and I laughed .

Liam : "give me yours , I wanna try it too"

I handed it to him and after a minute or so he handed it back , after we finished , we went out and went to car . once we sat in the car he grabbed my face and kissed me , after we shared a perfect kiss he said :

"told you , you won't be able to run the next time"

He winked and I said :

"this is because I didn't run"

I smirked at him and he just gave me a straight face and started the car and drove and all I did was laugh ...........
