Chapter 21 : keeping the secret

Niall's P.O.V :

We got in her car and did our seatbelts . As she started the car I said :

"Let's just hope we don't get cought"

She laughed and said :

"Dont worry , we won't"

I gave her the address of our house and she started heading there . We made a small talk as the house wasn't far from where she was living . She parked in the driveway and I didn't find any of the boys car but mine . Maybe they went to the stadium , I looked at the time and saw it was 2:15 pm . I turned around and said :

"Thanks for the ride . Wanna come in ???"

She shook her head and said :

"No , Thanks . I need to clean and study a little before getting ready for the show"

I nodded and hugged her then undid my seatbelt then went out and closed tbe door behind me . I walked to the door and opened it then waved at her and saw that she waved back . I closed the door and heard the sound of a car pulling away and I knew it is Cassie's . I just hope she will be home safe . I went up to my room and took a shower and started singing since I was home alone . After what seemed like a century but was only one hour . Wait one hour ??? Oh my god . I must hurry . I wrapped a towel around my hips and ran to my bedroom . I put on a pair of boxers and a pair of black ripped jeans with red t-shirt . I did my hair and grabbed my car keys and wallet and ran outside to my car . I did my seatbelt then started the engine and took off . Why did I have to take a shower ??? I already took one at Cassie's house . I looked at the time to find that it is 3:30 pm . I drove quick and what seemed like hours I finally made it to the stadium . I parked my car backside so I won't be chased by fans . I got out and ran fast to the entrance . I ran through the doors and finally found a door with a printed paper stock on it and written in bold :

One Direction's rehearsing room

I went inside breathless to find the boys rehearsing :

Through the day

They looked at me and their eyes widen . I looked at the time and it was 4:00 pm . Paul then came in and said :

"Niall . Exploration please"

I nodded because I was out of my breath . I inhaled as much air I could then exhaled then said :

"Sorry Paul and boys . I lost track of time"

Paul : "was it because of Cassie ???"

I didn't want him to think that Cassie was a distract for my job or that I did something with her . It is not her fault . I looked at the guys and they had serious expression on their face but Liam had something more .

Jealousy

Wait . Jealousy ??? Why in hell would he be jealous , it is not like there is something between them and from what would he be jealous ??? He doesn't love her . Right ??? I mean we just met her yesterday plus he has a secret girlfriend that he loves . I understand that they don't want to make their relationship public but why would he be jealous . Wait maybe I am imagining things . Yeah of course I am . I was pulled out of my thoughts when Paul coughed . I turned and said :

"No no . Cassie wasn't the problem . After I went home I decided to take a shower but I didn't know I was there for one hour"

I hoped they would believe me because this is the truth . Cassie doesn't have any role in this . Paul nodded and smiled then said :

"Okay . We believe you Niall just don't do it again . We thought that you will not come so we started rehearsaling your parts"

Niall : "don't worry Paul . I won't do it again and I am sorry again"

He nodded then said :

"Well boys you can complete were you stopped"

The boys nodded along with me and I watched as Paul left the room . I turn around to the boys and it was awkward . I didn't know what to do . Then my phone rang . I pulled it out of my pocket and saw Cassie on the caller ID . I answered .

Niall : "hi"

Cassie : "sorry Niall to call at this time . I know you are rehearsing but I want to tell you something"

Niall : "it is okay and sure what is wrong ???"

Cassie : "I was cleaning the guest room and I found your sunglasses along with your um b-boxers and your undershirt"

I am sure I blushed . How can I forget them . I mean I felt like I was home and I didn't realize I was changing them after I was done taking a shower . What an embarrassment .

Niall : "shit . I am sorry Cassie"

Cassie : "it is okay Niall"

I wanted my sunglasses back .

Niall : "Cassie An féidir leat le do thoil iad a chugam le leat anocht ???"

Translation : "can you please bring them with you tonight ???"

Cassie laughed and said :

"I will . Thanks Niall for not spitting my secret"

Niall : "no problem Cass"

Cassie : "okay I will leave you to complete . Bye see you tonight"

Niall : "Féach leat go luath . Slán"

Translation : "see you soon . Bye"

I hanged up and put it in my pocket . Of course I spoke in Irish because I didn't want them knowing her secret . That is good . She is Irish and so I am so we can speak in Irish if we don't want the others to understand . I was pulled out of my thoughts when Louis spoke up :

"Niall . What are you and Cassie hiding from us"

Shit . Shit .

Niall : "nothing"

Louis : "first she called you in a working hour then she said something that made you blush then you started speaking Irish . Spit it out Niall"

What should I say now .

Niall : "there is nothing we are keeping from you"

Harry : "yeah yeah"

He rolled his eyes .

Liam : "guys can we stop fighting and rehearsal please ???"

I nodded and we start rehearsing . Of course it was awkward the whole time .
