Cindy Perez is a joyous person who loved her family dearly, especially her twin, Catherine. She never wanted to be a disobedient daughter nor the black sheep of their family. Until one unfaithful day, an incident ruined their happy life. Cindy's last smile to her parents wasn't a sunset. It was an eclipse, the last eclipse, noon dying away to the darkness where there would be no dawn, but there's always what we call a miracle.
It's the new beginning of her life, a life full of lies. Her parents hid her true identity but the truth would always chase her.

SHORT SUMMARY OF CHAPTER 1 - My knees met the grassy but hard ground, shoulders shaking as hot tears raced down on my pale pinkish cheeks. My face twitched for a moment, feeling the pain in my knees. My already puffy eyes stared back at the smiling little girl who captured my whole life. That little girl is smiling in the picture frame that stood on her cemented grave.
"Anak, masaya ka na ba kung nasaan ka ngayon? Are you?" I asked reproachfully in a low, hoarse voice.

Hindi ko na natignan ang aking pamilya nang mga oras na iyon. I can't see them but I badly want to reach their hands but I can't...
I couldn't hear the ambulance coming. I could only make out its blurred shape through my blood spot, puffy, crying eyes. Hindi ko maramdaman! Wala akong magawa gusto ko silang lapitan pero hindi ko magawa! Hanggang sa hindi ko na talaga na kaya at tuluyan nang nawalan ng malay.

"Gawin n'yo po ang lahat para maging mabuti ang kalagayan ng aking anak. Kahit po magbayad pa ako ng malaki basta 'wag lang po siyang mamatay. I already lose one at ayoko na pati siya ay masama," pagmamakaawa ko. Hindi ko alam kung sapat ba iyon ngunit ginawa ko. Gusto kong lumuhod pero hindi ko kaya dahil ang paa ko ang pinakanapuruhan ng kami'y maaksidente.
"Sir, you don't have to beg. Sa maabot po ng aking makakaya gagawin po namin ang lahat ngunit akin lamang ipapayo na tanggalin n'yo ang mga bagay na p'wedeng magpapaalala sa kanyang kapatid o sa aksidente na nangyari," mahabang salaysayin ng doktor sa akin.
"Masusunod po. Kung ito lang ang magiging paraan para gumaling siya gagawin na namin kaagad pagka-alis ko rito sa ospital."
