SHORT SUMMARY OF CHAPTER 1 - Takot man ay hindi ko tatalikuran at pagkakaitan ang aking sarili. Hindi ko kailanman naisip na sa ganitong paraan ko mabibigo si Mama at si Kuya. All this time I've been a good daughter and sister to both of them. Lahat ng gusto nila para sa akin ay sinusunod ko kahit taliwas pa iyon sa gusto kong gawin. Sa ganitong pagkakataon na alam kong may lalabagin ako sa alinman sa gusto nilang gawin ko, bumabalik ako sa pagtatanggol ng yumao kong ama.
Daddy's girl ako. Malayo man sa gusto kong mangyari ang pinipiling daan nina Kuya at Mommy para sa akin, patuloy pa din iyong ipinaglalaban ni Daddy. I would cry once I found myself being told of what I should be and do, which will also mean ignoring my own free will to choose for myself, and then there will be my Dad, teaching me how to fight for it, to go for it, even if it will create feud in the family. Gusto ko man ay hindi ko iyon nagagawa dahil na din sa respetong meron ako kay Kuya at Mommy. Kung gaano kataas ang respeto ko sa aking ama ay ganoon sa aking ina at kuya.

"She went to the library for some project. Sa sobrang lutang mo di na niya nahintay ang sagot mo. She asked you three times if it's okay to come with me alone for now since the three of us are used to eating lunch here", mahabang paliwanag niya habang tinatahak namin ang hallway papuntang Cafeteria.
Malapit na kami sa Cafeteria nang marinig namin ang away ng dalawang babae doon sa mismong pinto.
"My God, Stacey. That's so pointless. I went out with your boyfriend for a group project. Tatlo kami dapat yon kay-

My heart is full everytime I hear his laughs filling my ear. Para akong dinadala sa lugar na diko pa mismo napuntahan. Only that my Brother's words echoed inside my head while Vhaun's laugh was fading.
"You're minor. A 15-year-old girl is supposed to have fun, Lucresia. Do not enter yourself in a relationship yet. Take it from me"
Taliwas sa gusto ni Kuya ang sinabi ko kay Vhaun. I may be a bad daughter and sister now but I will be happy for it.
"Tayo na, Vhaun."
