Pulling into a gas station I get out of the car to stretch my legs for a little bit after being in a car for so long your legs start to get numb "all right, I figured we'd hit Tucumcari by lunch, then head south, hit Bisbee by midnight. Sam wears women's underwear." Dean said making me giggle as he smiled at me through the rear view mirror "I've been listening. I'm just busy." Sam said "busy doin' what?" I asked him "reading e-mails." Sam replied "e-mails from who?" Dean asked him "from my friends at Stanford." Sam said not taking his eyes off of his phone "you're kidding....you still keep in touch with your college buddies." Dean said as I chuckled.

"Why not?" Sam asked out loud "well, what do you tell 'em? Ya know, about where you've been, what you've been doin'." I asked him as I leaned on his side of the car "I tell 'em I'm on a trip with my big brother and little sister. I tell 'em I needed some time off after Jess." He replied looking up at me "oh, so you lie to 'em." Dean said while chuckling as I giggled "no. I just don't tell them everything." Sam said "yeah, that's called lying, Sammy. I mean, hey, man, I get it. Tellin' the truth is far worse." I said with a smile on my face.

"So, what am I supposed to do, just cut everybody out of my life? You're serious?" Sam asked us as I shrugged at him "look, it sucks, but in a job like this, you can't get close to people...period." Dean said "you're kind of antisocial, you know that?" Sam asked us "yeah, whatever." Dean muttered "god.." Sam whispered making me turn to look at him "what?" I asked him intrigued to know what was happening.

"In this e-mail from this girl, Rebecca Warren, one of those friends of mine-." Sam said "is she hot?" Dean asked making me roll my eyes at him "I went to school with her and her brother, Zach. She says Zach's been charged with murder. He's been arrested for killing his girlfriend. Rebecca says he didn't do it, but it sounds like the cops have a pretty good case." Sam replied "dude, what kind of people are you hangin' out with?" I asked him "no, I know Zach. He's not a killer." Sam replied sending a glance my way "well, maybe you know Zach, as well as he, knows you." Dean said.

"They're in St. Louis. We're going." Sam replied looking up at us "look, sorry 'bout your buddy, okay? But this does not sound like our kind of problem." Dean said "it is our problem. They're my friends." Sam replied "Sammy, St. Louis is 400-miles behind us." I said looking down at him clearly noticing the desperate look on his face as I turned around to look at Dean with the same expression "fine, let's go." Dean replied with exasperation.
