Advice Request
This person likes someone but they had decided not to date until they are 16.

Hello,

First of all I’d like to say that R seems like a lovely person, as do you! From what you have mentioned in your request it does seem like you have stronger feelings for her than a friend would which is totally okay.

There is nothing wrong or weird about developing feelings for someone even if you don’t particularly want to, at the end of the day liking someone is such a beautiful feeling and I don’t think you should push that away. It’s your heart that chooses to like someone anyway, it’s not something you can control. What you can control is your actions and whether you want to confess, date or anything else. If you genuinely want to wait till you’re 16 to date then that’s perfectly fine, just because you feel like you like someone doesn’t mean you need to act upon it, this is your life and you can take control of it. If you want to wait, you have every right to wait.

Plus there’s nothing wrong with liking someone or liking the idea of a relationship so never feel stupid for having these feelings.
