Steve Rogers
You were in the shower after a long day at work, the water washing away all of your stress, and thinking about being able to cuddle up with Steve made it better. You were singing to yourself and the walls of your bathroom, lost in the lyrics and completely relaxed. Steve was laying in bed waiting for you to get out and come lay with him when he heard your voice. It was soft at first but as you went on it became louder and he began to lose focus and closed his eyes. He was so lost in your wonderful voice that when you came out to him you thought he had fallen asleep. "Steve?" You sat on the bed next to him. "I'm sorry I took so long I got lost in the music in my head." You laughed when he opened his eyes and looked at you. "Oh, don't be sorry it was beautiful to listen to. I couldn't help myself so I closed my eyes and must have dozed off." He opened his arms and you crawled into them getting under the comforter with him, your head on his bare chest. "Then let's get some sleep, I love you," You whispered. "Goodnight." His whispered response was the last thing you heard as you fell asleep.
Tony Stark
You were busy, always so busy but you did find time to enjoy yourself even so. You were walking around the tower with a stack of papers in hand, some you needed to file for Tony and other's needed delivering. You were off in your own world singing at a moderate level, not too loud as to disturb anyone but loud enough to be heard. It was an old song and one you loved so you knew the lyrics and beat in your soul at this point. Tony hadn't been looking for you per say, he just happened to stumble upon you as you walked around the tower. He totally didn't look for you on security camera's or anything. Once he found you and made it to the hall you were near he heard your singing, it was sweet and sort of soft to him. He was caught off guard and ended up stopping in the middle of the hall just to listen some more. "Tony?" You waved your hand in front of his face "Tony? You in there?" You laughed and that brought him back to the present. "Are you alright?" You asked, shifting the papers to the other arm to make them more comfortable to carry. "Wonderful, Sweet Cheeks, now give me those and we can walk and talk about how good you are at singing and why you never told me about it." He took the papers from your arms and you two proceeded to do just that.
Bruce Banner
You weren't great at singing but whenever you did sing you did it solely to have fun and quality wasn't what you aimed for. You were busy putting new equations and formulas into the main computer with some music playing on your phone next to you. You were typing away and singing aloud when Bruce came in and he smiled. You looked and sounded like you were having a blast and he loved seeing you so happy. "Are you having fun?" You let out a squeal of surprise at Bruce's voice. "Oh! I'm sorry, I'll just turn this down..." You were sort of embarrassed but he didn't seem visibly bothered by it. "Oh, it's alright you looked like you were having a blast. I wouldn't want to disturb you, rather I was going to join you." He moved his chair so that he could sit next to you. "I'm not bothering you? My music was super loud and my singing...wasn't pleasant." You mumbled and he gave you a smile. "Of course not, I'm happy seeing you happy and whether you're great at singing or not isn't important to me. I love seeing you happy." He said and you smiled, music lower but happier now working with Bruce by your side.
Thor Odinson
You were bathing, enjoying the large bathtub mostly full of water. You enjoyed it especially after a particularly long day of helping and healing the Asgardian soldiers. The sun was setting casting colorful rays into the room with you and warming your shoulders above the water. You has your eyes closed as you leaned against the side of the bath and started humming which turned into singing. Your voice resonated around the room and drifted out into the hall but you didn't realize that much. Thor asked his mother where you had gone and that's what lead him to where he stood now. Your voice was coming from the bathing room and it was something so beautiful to him that he stopped in his tracks. It was mesmerizing to him and he lost himself in your voice for a few moments before a passing soldier brought him back to his senses. "Maiden, are you alright in there? Mother told me you had a particularly rough day and I wished to check on you." You were surprised when he called out to you but then you smiled, getting out and wrapping a towel around yourself. "I am alright, sore and tired but better now." You opened the door slightly to peak out. "The bath was particularly helpful for the soreness though I would love nothing more than to sleep now. If you give me a moment I will dress and we can get to our chamber and sleep?" He gave you a smile and nodded "Of course!" and that's exactly what you two did with much praise of your singing voice from Thor.
Loki Laufeyson
You weren't busy for the first time in a few weeks and you were going to enjoy yourself one way or another. You were laying in the grass out in the back gardens, watching the sky as birds and bugs flew around above you happily. You found yourself humming and then singing and laughing while the birds tweeted back at you in protest. You knew you couldn't sing but that didn't stop you because you were happy and enjoying yourself. "I believe you should stick with your fighting skills, Love. Singing perhaps is not meant for you." You scowled but then laughed watching Loki take a seat on the grass beside you. "I suppose you are correct, I did not get into the guard for my singing voice but I'm enjoying my first day off in weeks so I shall enjoy it however I see fit. I am having a great time listening to the birds protest at me for signing back at them." You could feel Loki's eyes watching you watch the birds above you. "I cannot fault you for that, continue if you wish and I shall be right here to keep you company. Singing or not, I have missed you." You moved so that you could sit next to him, your head rested on his shoulder. "I've missed you in equal measure, Love. Shall we talk instead? Tell me all of your wonderful tricks and I can tell you all of my boring guard stories." You felt him chuckle as he spoke, "I would love nothing less."
Clint Barton
You LOVED listening to music while you cleaned, there was something about it that made you feel so much more productive. You had just finished up cleaning the bedroom and now focused on the living room, dancing around with the broom occasionally if the beat really got to you. You were humming along with some of the song if you were too busy to sing that line or were out of breath. The song changed and it was one of your favorites and you just had to stop and sing along, the broom handle was your microphone and your living room being the stage. You were so into the song that when Clint came back home you didn't notice. "You must really be having a blast cleaning this place. Hmm?" Clint teased and you stuck your tongue out at him. "At least I'm making it fun!" You took a deep breath and wiped your forehead. "Anyway, welcome home, Babe. How was training or did you skip out in favor of staring from your little hiding hole?" He laughed as he pulled you into his arms. "You know me too well, I can tell from your singing and dancing that you had fun here alone?" He kissed you and you nodded. "Sure did, though I still have the kitchen and bathroom to clean. Help me out? We can sing and dance if it makes it more interesting for you?" He laughed. "Whatever makes you happy."
James "Bucky" Barnes
You were rather shy about your singing, you were definitely not bad having had years of practice but it was something you rarely let people hear or know about. You loved to sing while you cooked, it was a guilty pleasure of sorts because it was just so easy for you to do and you rarely thought about it. You were making dinner for you and Bucky when you started to hum at first, it was quiet at first but then it turned into full on singing as you cooked. Simple song and simple recipe. Bucky had finally made it home, tired from training and tired from being within the same building as Tony AND Sam. They wore him thin but at least now he could see your beautiful face and his worries could be in the past. When he walked in he could hear your voice, at first he thought you were hurt but then he really listened and it captivated him. It was so sweet and from the heart that it was speechless. For a few moments he just stood at the door listening to the wonderful sound coming from you until the song ended and it broke him of his trance. He walked into the kitchen about the time another song began to play, "You have such a beautiful voice when you sing." You shouted in panic before holding your hand over your chest. "You scared the hell outta me, Bucks!" You sighed as he came up to you. "I'm serious, you know." You had just taken the food out of the oven and off of the stove top. "Thank you..." You whispered, embarrassed. "No need to be shy." He placed his hand on your cheek and stroked it softly and you smiled. "Well, if you say so. How about we have some food and talk about your day? OR we can talk about how much you hate dealing with Tony and Sam because by the look on your face that's more up your ally." He laughed and kissed you. "Sounds like great idea."
Sam Wilson
You were sitting on the balcony drinking and listening to music that came from inside the door you had cracked open. It was the first cool night you've been able to enjoy in a few months now. Summer was overrated and the heat made you feel like you were melting, you were more of a fall and winter type of girl anyway. Sam had texted you an hour ago telling you he would be a little late coming home and so you decided to wait and enjoy the evening while doing so. The music was just loud enough for you to hear and enjoy but not so loud as to bother every other person within the area. You started singing along with the song that came on, drink on the table next to you and eyes closed. Sam had come home, front door was shut but he could hear the muffled music coming from inside. "Bet she's out on the balcony again, that girl is...wow, is that her?" He couldn't tell really tell if it was you he was hearing or not so he walked closer. For the first time in a while he was left speechless and struck, his girl could sing and she was amazing at it too! He turned the music down and opened the door fully to the balcony, smile of surprise on his face. "Wow, baby, I didn't know you could sing so well! Like, damn girl you sounded amazing." He praised you and you felt yourself getting red and shy and embarrassed because of it. "Okay, okay, I get it Sammy..." You whispered and he pulled you up and into his arms. "I mean it, now where is my welcome home kiss?" His smile, damn that smile and those sweet eyes. "You're lucky you're so cute." You gave him a few quick kisses with a smile now on your face. "I know, now, let's get inside and we can cuddle or watch TV or just talk. How 'bout it?"
